Chapter 3 - Walking Home

I walked along the quiet streets, scouting for my opportunity for a good prank. The sun was setting as the amber light rays stretched across the pavement.

'Found it', I thought to myself.

A mature woman with dark brown hair was walking in my direction. 'Time to do a little bit of trolling', I grinned.

(POV CHANGE - random woman with dark brown hair)

"Excuse me ma'am."

I stopped in my tracks and looked up. A teenager with black hair and hazel eyes stood in front of me. He was quite tall, standing at 6'1. He has a sharp jawline and a thin nose, giving off a mature aura.

"You look stunning and I just wanted to ask if I could have the pleasure of getting to know you.", He smiled at me.

I blushed at his boldness as I gazed into his eyes. His eyes seemed like they were spinning with a brown vortex around his pupil, which slightly unsettled me.

"Sorry, you are a bit too young for me.", I rejected his advances.

"Ah, no worries. Have a wonderful day ma'am!", He smiled brightly at me.

'If only he was older...', I thought as I carried on walking home.

Then a small girl with a red dress was running in my direction. She was crying with her hands balled up near her eyes. I have to help this poor little girl, I cannot let her be.

"What's wrong little girl?" I asked her as she stopped right in front of me.

"I... I... I lost my parents", she barely managed to utter between sobs.

"Aww, no worries. I'll be sure to help you find them. How about you lead me to the place you last saw them? Maybe they're waiting for you at that place?", I tried to console the little girl.

She led me slowly to the park whilst continually sobbing. I assumed she lost her parents in the park. I didn't see anyone so I asked, "How about I take you to the police station and we'll contact your parents there?"

The little girl stopped crying. She didn't respond either. She stood opposite me with her back towards me.

"Umm, are you okay?"

"You... You lied to me... You said they will be here... waiting for me...", the little girl whispered.

"No no, I just wanted to help you find them. If they're not here we can look for them elsewhere."

"No No No NO NO NO NO NO NO LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR", the little girl's voice became louder with each second.

Her voice seemed to surround me from all angles. Her voice seemed to pierce my brain as I stumble back and trip over a rock. I fall flat on my back. Back dripping with sweat, I look up to see the girl's head facing me. But her body was facing forward, and her head is twisted 180 degrees backwards facing me.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

She screamed.

Her eyes started leaking blood.

Her mouth no, maw, opened wide, wide enough to let me see rows of jagged teeth lined inside.

'Nope, Nope, f*ck this I'm running'

I turned around and pushed myself off the floor, sprinting away. This must have been the fastest I've ever ran. Her screams seemed to be chasing me so I stepped up the gas. I'm panting heavily. I can't stop. I need to find help. This can't be real. This must be a dream. In the distance, I thought I heard a man laughing wholeheartedly, as if he heard the funniest joke.

'No... I'm dreaming. Yep I must be dreaming. Just run away. I'll wake up soon...'

(POV CHANGE - Timeo Craft)

I laughed as the woman sprinted through the park. She even jumped over a park bench like it was a hurdle. She must have done athletics back in school. What a great day it has been. Thanks to her, I've had a great laugh and my mind feels refreshed. I try not to give people long lasting trauma as they are innocent, just victims to my pranks. She was a nice woman as well, deciding to help the 'little girl'.
