Aevia tried to block and disperse the abyss that Sasha had released, but it was too strong for her to handle, and how the abyss was the one that devoured her power. She couldn't measure how strong Sasha's power was and the fact that she had a whole army just like her.
Sasha covered her body with the abyss and fought Aevia with everything she had. She was invincible even in the presence of Aevia, giving her the confidence and the determination to pay back for what Aevia did to everyone.
Aevia couldn't do anything because her power didn't affect Sasha at all, and it would be a waste of time and resources to fight her. She accepted her defeat by abandoning the timeline she lived in and moving to a different timeline that Sasha couldn't reach.
