Mykel didn't want to immediately ask his son to use his power and wanted to spend a whole week playing with him. Everyone understood his reason and played along, and it was fun for them as well like a fresh breeze of air.
On the eighth day, they all went into another reality and started to observe Mykel from that reality. Even with Lyneth's, Lilith's, and Amaryllis' interference, they couldn't achieve the scenario that Mykel wanted.
At some point, they were almost got caught by The Lord for manipulating his world. Thankfully, they managed to leave and turned everything back to how it was supposed to be.
It was indeed close to impossible, but they didn't want to give up and kept doing it and learned from their mistakes. It was harder than they thought, but Mykel was still determined like water trying to split a whole mountain.
