Once they were seated at their favorite spot by the window, with a perfect view of the artificial lake, the atmosphere was initially tense. However, as the delicious aroma of the food wafted through the air, it became increasingly difficult for the twins to maintain their sour expressions.
Aurora, unable to resist the enticing scent, finally broke the ice. "Wow, the seafood pasta smells incredible! Sanji has really outdone himself this time."
Orion grinned, taking a bite of his own dish. "I couldn't agree more, Aurora. Everything here is always top-notch."
Vivi, feeling more at ease, chimed in. "I've never been to Baratie before, but I must admit, the food is fantastic."
Luna, still somewhat reluctant to engage in the conversation, quietly mumbled, "Yes, it is… and their new dessert looks promising."
Aurora, noticing her sister's reluctance, decided to try and include her in the conversation more actively. "Luna, I remember you were telling me about an interesting book you were reading over the weekend. Why don't you share some of the details with us?"
Luna hesitated for a moment before nodding. "It's called 'Twin Stars: The World of Heroes and Villains.' The story takes place in a parallel world where heroes and villains are abundant. The protagonist is a person from another world who is reincarnated into that world as a male twin named Mokami, and his sister Momo."
The others listened intently, their interest piqued. "They grow up together with an unbreakable bond, and as they climb the stairs of heroism and save the world, their love only grows stronger," Luna continued, her voice gaining confidence.
"That sounds fascinating," Vivi commented, genuinely intrigued. "I'd love to read it sometime."
Orion, smiling warmly at his sister, added, "It seems like a world filled with excitement and adventure. I can see why you're so captivated by it, Luna."
Luna blushed, feeling encouraged by her brother's and friends' interest. "There's an interesting twist, too. As they defeat powerful enemies, Mokami and Momo discover that their powers are connected to their emotions, especially their love for each other. The stronger their bond, the more powerful they become."
Aurora chimed in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "That's so cool! Imagine having powers that grow stronger the more you care about someone."
Vivi, her curiosity piqued, asked, "Are there any other interesting characters in the story?"
Luna nodded, eagerly sharing more details. "Yes, there's a whole cast of heroes and villains with unique abilities and backstories. Some of them become allies to Mokami and Momo, while others become their fiercest rivals. The story is full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat."
As Luna described the book, the others couldn't help but become engrossed in the tale. Even the twins, who had initially been reluctant to include Vivi in their conversation, found themselves drawn in by the captivating story.
While they continued discussing the book, Sanji approached their table, a wide grin on his face. "I hope you're all enjoying your meal! Is there anything else I can get for you?"
Orion, his suave demeanor ever-present, replied, "Everything has been fantastic, Sanji. Thank you for the excellent service."
Sanji, nodding in appreciation, turned to leave but paused for a moment. "By the way," he said, a mischievous glint in his eye, "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. That book sounds intriguing. Perhaps I'll give it a read myself."
With a final smile, Sanji walked away, leaving the group to continue their conversation.
Orion, noticing that the atmosphere had grown considerably more relaxed, felt relieved. He was grateful that the conversation had shifted to something that everyone could enjoy and that the initial tension had dissipated.
As they finished their meal, Luna and Aurora began to think about what the story of Mokami and Momo might mean for their relationship with Orion. Would their bond with him grow stronger as they faced the challenges of life together?
The thought lingered in their minds as they made their way back to their next class, their hearts filled with hope and determination to protect their precious bond with their beloved brother.
Throughout the day, Orion remained his usual charismatic self, interacting with his classmates and teachers with ease. However, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of responsibility. He had multiple people who cared for him deeply, and he wanted to make sure that each of them felt valued and cherished.
Orion, Vivi, Luna, and Aurora walked back to the classroom, ready for their next Art class with Otohime. They had all enjoyed the first session, where Otohime had paired Orion with Vivi to portray a specific emotion. Orion had chosen Greed, while Vivi had gone with Lust. The clever quip that Orion had come up with, "Can we say that your lust was due to seeing my face and my greed was due to your lusty face?", had unexpectedly led to their blossoming relationship.
As they entered the classroom, they found the other students already seated and waiting for Otohime's arrival. The bell rang, and Otohime entered the room, her mermaid tail shimmering with an ethereal glow. She smiled warmly at the class and clapped her hands together, announcing the start of the lesson.
"Welcome back, everyone! Today, we will continue exploring emotions in art. I will pair you up again, and this time, I want you to focus on the emotion of envy. Remember, the key is to portray this emotion as vividly as possible!"
Otohime began pairing the students, and when she announced that Orion would be paired with Orihime Inoue, Orihime's face lit up with happiness. Meanwhile, Winry, Hinata, Tatsumaki, and Vivi exchanged glances, jealousy bubbling up inside them. Their envy was evident, and Luna and Aurora frowned, unhappy with another girl trying to steal their precious baby brother's attention.
As the pairs settled into their workstations, Orihime couldn't help but flirt openly with Orion. "Wow, Orion, I'm so excited to work with you! I've heard so much about how talented and charming you are."
Orion, ever the suave and charismatic individual, took it in stride. "Thank you, Orihime. I've heard great things about you as well. I'm sure we'll create something amazing together."
The other girls in the room could barely contain their jealousy, muttering and mumbling under their breaths. Hinata whispered to Winry, "I can't believe she's just throwing herself at him like that."
Winry nodded in agreement. "It's so infuriating! And the worst part is that he doesn't seem to mind it at all."
Tatsumaki, the most assertive of the group, clenched her fists and muttered, "If she keeps this up, I'll have to step in and teach her a lesson."
