As the experiment continued, the classroom buzzed with excitement. The colorful reactions taking place in the beakers had everyone captivated. Orion's lab partner, Tatsumaki, was clearly enthusiastic about the activity, though she tried to maintain her cool, aloof demeanor.
"Looks like we're doing pretty well so far," Orion commented, trying to break the ice.
Tatsumaki glanced at him, her green eyes flashing with a hint of annoyance. "Hmph, I suppose. It's not like I need your help or anything," she muttered, turning her attention back to their experiment.
Despite her tsundere attitude, Orion couldn't help but notice the way her cheeks flushed slightly, betraying her true feelings. As they continued to work together, Tatsumaki's attempts at flirtation became more apparent, though she would never admit it outright.
"So, I heard about your little showdown with the delinquents yesterday," she said, trying to sound disinterested. "Not bad, I guess."
Orion smirked, amused by her attempt at nonchalance. "Thanks, Tatsumaki. It's always nice to have someone in my corner."
As they finished the experiment, their teacher, Momo, went around the room, inspecting each group's results. She stopped at Orion and Tatsumaki's station and examined the reaction in their beaker, nodding approvingly.
"Well done, Orion and Tatsumaki," she praised. "You've successfully demonstrated the principles we discussed in class today. Keep up the good work."
Tatsumaki huffed and looked away, trying to hide her pride at the compliment. "It was nothing, really," she mumbled, her face still slightly flushed.
The bell rang, signaling the end of class. They carefully cleaned up their station and put away their equipment before heading to their next class, math.
As they entered the math classroom, they were greeted by their teacher, Korosensei. His unconventional appearance and extraordinary teaching abilities were well-known throughout the school. Despite his odd looks, he had a knack for helping students overcome their struggles with math, using innovative and engaging methods.
"Good afternoon, students," Korosensei greeted them, his many tentacles waving in the air. "Today, we'll be tackling the world of geometry and exploring the relationships between angles and shapes."
Luna and Aurora exchanged excited glances, both eager to learn from the eccentric math teacher. Orion, on the other hand, felt at ease – math had always been his strong suit. Regardless, he steeled himself for the lesson, determined to make the most of Korosensei's expertise.
The class began, and Korosensei wasted no time diving into the material. He drew complex diagrams on the board, explaining the concepts in a way that made them easy to understand. His tentacles zipped around the room, helping students with their individual struggles and ensuring that everyone was keeping up.
As the lesson progressed, Orion found himself slowly but surely grasping the concepts Korosensei was teaching. He could see the light of understanding in the eyes of his sisters, as well as the other students, as they all worked through challenging problems under his guidance.
During a brief pause in the lesson, Luna leaned over and whispered to Orion, "I can't believe how much I'm actually enjoying this. Korosensei is an amazing teacher!"
He nodded, grateful for the progress he was making. "Yeah, I've never understood math like this before. It's kind of incredible."
As the class continued, Korosensei introduced them to various problem-solving strategies and techniques, always keeping the material engaging and accessible. His patience and enthusiasm were contagious, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about the success of the students.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the class. As Orion gathered his things and prepared to leave, a girl approached him with a worried expression.
"Um, excuse me, Orion," she stammered, "The principal wants to see you."
Luna and Aurora's faces immediately filled with concern, but Orion did his best to calm them down. "Don't worry, I'm sure it's nothing serious," he reassured them. "Let's go see what she wants."
They made their way to the principal's office, the girls still looking anxious. When they arrived, Orion told Luna and Aurora to wait outside while he went in alone.
As he entered the office, he was greeted by the sight of Principal Tsunade sitting behind her desk in all her imposing glory. She looked up from her paperwork and offered him a warm smile.
"Ah, Orion, please have a seat," she said, gesturing to the chair across from her. "I've been hearing a lot about you lately."
Feeling a bit nervous, Orion sat down and tried to maintain a confident demeanor. "Is there something you wanted to discuss, Principal Tsunade?" he asked.
She leaned back in her chair, studying him for a moment. "Yes, it's come to my attention that you had a little incident with some delinquents yesterday," she said casually.
He smiled, not wanting to reveal any names. He might have beaten them to put some sense into their heads, but he wasn't a snitch. "It was just a misunderstanding, Principal Tsunade. Everything has been resolved."
Tsunade nodded, not pressing for more details. "I see. Well, I have a proposal for you, Orion. I've been wanting to deal with those delinquents for quite some time, but their activities always take place outside of the school, which is outside of my jurisdiction. However, it seems you have a unique ability to handle them."
He raised an eyebrow, curious about where this was going. "What do you have in mind?"
Tsunade leaned forward, her eyes serious. "I want you to keep an eye on them and step in if they try to cause trouble for our students. In exchange, I can offer you certain privileges here at the school."
He considered her proposal, weighing the potential benefits against the risks involved. "I appreciate the offer, Principal Tsunade, but I'll need some time to think it over."
She nodded, understanding his hesitation. "Of course, Orion. Take all the time you need. Just know that I believe you have the potential to make a real difference here."
With that, he thanked her for her time and left the office, rejoining his sisters in the hallway. Their worried expressions quickly turned to curiosity as they bombarded him with questions about his meeting with the principal. He assured them that everything was fine, deciding to keep the details of Tsunade's proposal to himself for the time being.
