Mina: Before I answer Petra, I tell "Christa I need you to meet up with Anne earlier than planned Erwin has laid a trap for me".
Tell Anne when you guys meet in the woods that I want you with her when she's attacking to have you hidden somewhere on her.
Christa: Ok got it, just be careful ok.
Mina: Ending the connection, I look at Petra and smile while I say just stay close to me ok no matter what just stay by my side.
Petra: Why what's wrong?
Mina: I give her a smile, and look away as I say in my head "I'm sorry but I have to do this I can only keep you safe I could have kept Eld, Gunther and Oluo alive but with this plan Erwin has come up has altered it if he just would have just waited to find out everything in do time this wouldn't have happened".
I was going to tell him some of my plans at the end of this damn it Erwin why did you have to test my loyalty now you would have had your answers soon now there will be more blood sheed then there had to be.
Petra: Seeing that she wasn't going to say anymore after her warning of me staying close to her I sigh and take my hand away.
But at least I know that, she does still care about me even though she's still going to go through with her plan.
Eren: After hearing Mina's warning to Petra, I saw the sadness in her eyes along with the decision that she just made wasn't one that she wanted to but was left with no choice which is why she warned Petra.
With the look in her eyes, I knew that Mina wouldn't be doing this if there wasn't a reason just by her warning to Petra is enough to show.
That she's on our side but whatever the reason is for her doing this is holding her back from telling us.
With knowing that is enough to have me strengthen my resolve, and make a pledge of saying whatever decision that Mina makes I will trust her and if I can help her I will.
Mina: Hearing someone calling to the captain Levi as they approach him and start matching his horses pace we hear the Informant say "The right wing has been destroyed by an horde of titans commander Erwin has ordered us to change directions to the east and to keep the message going."
Levi: You heard him Petra.
Petra: Yes sir, as I look at Mina as her warning goes through my mind as she gives me a smile a relief washes over me begin that she's reassuring me it's fine.
Levi: After Petra leaves, 3 black flares are fired from the right of us signaling an abnormal titan looking forward I tell Eren to fire the flare what good can this formation do when the enemy can easily breach it.
Eren: Yes sir.
( 20 minutes later)
Mina: Entering the woods I see Christa up in a tree, nodding my head for her to go meet up with Anne.
Eren: Uhmm sir is it a good idea to be entering these woods we loose all advantages and visibility here.
Levi: Eren look around at all these trees around don't you think it's the perfect place to use our odm gears calm down and use your brain that is your best survival tool.
Eren: But sir how are we supposed to protect...
Mina: Riding beside him as I match his pace I put my hand on his shoulder and say "calm down it will be fine."
Commander Erwin made this decision knowing that we wouldn't be able to support them.
Eren: I take a deep breath, before looking back at Mina I say "right sorry".
Mina: I pat him on his shoulder before I drop back to where I was.
Eren: In my head "That's Mina for you always cool and collected even under intense situations even though we're both new to this".
But that's when I remember that the titan isn't the only reason where here.
What is she going to do? when is she going to act these woods put her also at a disadvantage here.
That when we hear a flare go off, looking up its a black right behind us.
Levi: Draw your blade! when it happens it will happen fast!
Eren: as we all look back with our blades drawn I feel my heart beat racing as the seconds turn to minutes until we see someone emerge to only be killed like a fly as we see the titan covering its nape as it runs towards us.
Petra: Sir she's right behind us.
Gunther: Sir she's gaining do you want us to engage!?
Eld: Sir we what are your orders!
Oluo: Captain!
Levi: Saying nothing we keep on running.
Eren: Sir why aren't we engaging, if we keep on running like this she's going to catch us.
With him not answering, I look around and see that everyone else is getting more and more anxious as they don't know why they aren't engaging.
Mina: Seeing that Levi isn't answering their cries of concern I think in show this isn't how it proceeds but what haven't there been real changes with the fact that they are testing me.
Even if in these woods gives them an advantage over the two of us and if I would to interfere and work with Annie in my titan form they would be helpless even though that isn't in my plans.
Leaving my thoughts when I hear Petra yell Eren No! as I see Eren about to bite his hand.
Levi: Eren your not wrong but the ability you have doesn't make you who you are then again it could be the other way around the reason we don't come to understanding is because of our experience.
The choices we have to make in the moments of where we have to draw the line are unknown but you can always put your trust into the people that are willing to sacrifice everything for you or believe in yourself I don't know which one is the right choice.
Mina: Though he's saying that to Eren, I know that he is directing it to me as I feel my resolve waver and my heart being tugged at as the flashback of when I had gone training in my titan form when everyone was sleeping.
I get drawn out of my feelings when I hear Petra shout "Trust Us!"
Looking at Petra's hand I see the outline of the bit mark on her hand showing the pledge of her trust of trusting us along with the others.
Eren: Hesitating as I look at Petra's hand as I have my close to my mouth.
Levi: WELL WHAT IS IT GOING TO BE MINA!
Mina: Seeing the shock expressions on the others, face as they catch on that message was meant for me.
Lowering my head as I have a dark expression on it when Gunther says "she's accelerating!".
Sheathing my blade I stand up on my horse as I smile at the others and jump off as I transform into my titan from just as we reach the trap that was meant for Anne as I end up getting shot by the traps that hold me in place.
I connect to Anne and say stand down this is apart of the plan even though it changed again slightly being they weren't supposed to be able to reach this point.
