Alex was sitting at his couch playing with his new Glock he bought, yes it's very common but that's what makes it good in the apocalypse, you can easily find parts for it aswell as ammo, it also has a good reputation for not jamming although the reputation is a little inflated it should still be one of the best pistols at the end of the world, as Alex plays with his pistol that he is oddly very familiar with even tho he never touched a gun before, he starts thinking about his preparations he can buy a couple of military trucks from military surplus's he may even be able to buy an armored one if lucky, buying guns in bulk from surplus or gun stores is a no go, not because of attention but because it'll take a long time he doesn't care about the police investigation on him the world is going to end in 2 months, so his thoughts are to use the black market and buy everything he deems important it doesn't matter if the police catches on because they won't be able to do anything to him later, but first he needs more money a lot more he has a couple hundreds of millions but it's not enough, so he picked up his phone and called a number "hello boss what can I help you with" said a man sounding professional, this was the person Alex put in charge of his parents company "I want to sell the entire company, make sure to make it happen by tonight" said Alex without emotion as he quickly ended the call, giving his staff a head ache his company should sell for atleast over 2billion, after all it's well known in Wisconsin and the surrounding states, with good reputation
As Alex was making preparations John was closing the store for the day, he had a lot on his mind he needed money and fast but he wasn't sure if he wanted to accept Alex's deal, he knew the risks of doing it but all hesitation was gone when he got the hospital bill for his little sisters treatment, with bill on hand and looking at more and more frequent videos of people attacking other people, he knew he had to do something after all he is not just a computer nerd he knows what's happening isn't just "people attacking others" like the government make it out to be, he saw videos of the unthinkable, those insane people eating others, and he has been to his fair share of doomsday prepping groupchats to know something is not right, and it could go very wrong very fast, thinking about this and his sister that was hospitalized he made up his mind if he can get money it will boost they're chances of living, John fell asleep worried and excited for the future so was Alex who slept with his new gun by his bed, Alex who was sleeping was suddenly woken up by a phone ring, picking up the phone he heard "boss I found a buyer he wants to buy it for 1.5 billion dollars" said the man running his company, hearing this number Alex instantly woke up, although it's undervalued his company he doesn't care, he doesn't have time to negotiate so he said "get a contract ready I'm on my way" said Alex as he closed the call hopping into the shower to get ready, an hour later a Lamborghini pulled up infront of a multi story building in Appleton, getting out of his car Alex looked at the building in nostalgia he still remembers when his father bought the building for his company, walking through the door he was met with two man a middle aged one and an old one, the middle aged one called Christian is the person that runs the company for alex, so the older gentle must be the buyer thought Alex as he put on a smile and said "pleasure to meet you, let's not waste any of our time and sign the contract" Alex said hurriedly causing the old man to frown as it was rude, Alex didn't care the world was ending anyway soon the contract was completed and 1.5 billion was sent into his bank account, satisfied he left and went home to wait for John, as hours passed and Alex waited in his home, he started to get impatient but then the door bell rang
John was nervously waiting at the door of a giant mansion, it took him hours to just find this mansion and he wasn't even sure it was the right one as Alex didn't give any address, and getting into the gated community was a nightmare luckily the security guard believed him, as John was worrying if this was Alex's house the door opened and a buff 195cm (6'5) man with blonde hair walked out with a smile and said "John I'm so happy you could make, it come inside" said Alex leading John inside who had a blank face looking around, finally as both sat facing each other John broke the ice and said "what do you want, if it's not illegal I can get it done" hearing that Alex just smiled and said "I just want to survive" this surprised John as he asked "survive? are you talking about those people that go mad and attack everyone?" Alex just smiled and nodded as he continued "I have a contact in the CDC he says its worse than what we see online…." 10 mins it was all it took to convince John of something terrible about to happen, as Alex told him of the preparations and stuff to buy from guns, ammo, military trucks, armored vehicles if lucky and he even thought of a uniform for his organization, the standard uniform and gear for a soldier in his organization would be a black uniform, the same quality as army uniforms with black vests, gas masks, night vision, a pistol and an assault rifle with silencers, and other accessories like a machete, the black helmet will have the umbrella logo on it, and all the gear a soldier will wear from pads to back pacts etc, he wanted to buy atleast 5 thousand sets he even told John that he willing to spend over 100 million to just have it ready in 1 month "although all that gear is custom and the best quality available it would normally take a couple months, but with the amount of money your throwing at it they will find a way to complete the order, as for the black market leave that to me I have experience in it, that's how I found news about the infection, I will buy every rifle and attachments necessary as for ammo, I think we could just buy them from all the gun shops although cops would be suspicious they would be occupied by the infection, as for military surplus stores I will look into it and buy a couple military trucks and a armored vehicle if lucky, I would also buy all their ammo also I would suggest buying black fabric and paint in bulk so we have the opportunity to make more uniform sets in the future, food and water, every book I'll buy everything but there's one thing I need you to do for me" said John as Alex just raised his eyebrow, he has his pistol on his hip just in case he tries anything "do something for you? Sure what is it" said Alex with sharp eyes as he looked at John "my little sister is hospitalized, if everything you said is true I need to bring her here"
