In a far away place at the top of mountains away from any civilisations a woman is standing desperately looking for something
Kanako: Come on now… don't fail me here Astheric compass.
[Go north, north, north, bzzzt, south]
Kanako: Yes! I got you now Solara!
Kanako stood firmly on the ground with her hands pointing upwards
Kanako: In shadows cast, where realms entwine,
Grant me passage to the ethereal line.
With whispered words and intent pure,
Open the gates, my spirit secure.
Elysium's Veil, let me transcend,
Into the realm where spirits ascend.
A light beam overwhelms the surroundings and with a swoosh Kanako disappeared
Echoing voice: It's been a long time… Old friend of mine. What has brought you into my realm this time?
Kanako: Show yourself Solara! I don't have time to play games now.
A small little spirit with orange skin and fairy wings appeared
Solara: Oh my… you're always so boring and straight to the point, so tell me dear friend, what is it that you wish this time? Solara had a creepy smile on her face and her eyes wide open.
Kanako: I need to borrow the power of a light spirit.
Solara: Oh my! How intriguingly captivating. A demon, asking for a light spirit… Apparently Solara hasn't seen it all yet *chuckles* say nkw, for what reason is this?
Kanako: I don't remember having to specify a reason to why I need a spirit from last times that I've asked for one
Solara: Well that's cause you've never asked for a light spirit you silly little girl! As you should know light spirits are very rare to come by these days, so of course I would need to know in what type of contract they are partaking right? And since light spirits are now finite, meaning there won't be more of them unless the holy churches decides to return to the mortal realm… the price for making a contract with them has drastically increased you see…
Kanako: Curse you, you damn witch.
Solara: Hey now… we wouldn't want to mistaken witches with spirits right?
A bright crimson aura envolved Solara
Kanako: hmph…
Solara: Good girl.
Solara's aura turned back to normal.
Kanako: Tell me what do I need to do to get a pact with a light spirit?
Solara: Hold up now, lets not get ahead of ourselves. You still didn't answer what you meed the light spirit for.
Kanako hesitated for a second. Then she answered
Kanako: To defend myself agains dark magic
Solara: Ahh! So delightful! So majestical! I have never heard a demon ask for protection from a light spirit.
Solara got close to Kanako's face
Solara: Good answer Kanako, if you would have said to fight dark magic I would have already kicked you off the realm.
Kanako gulped
Kanako: So tell me then. What do I need to do?
Solara had a macabre face on
Solara: My dear… as a demon, getting a contract with a light spirit can be very complicated! However… everhthing has a price remember?
Kanako: What is it this time?
Solara: I want half of the years you have left to live, she said with a creepy smile on her face
Kanako: half my… No! That's stupid! I've already given you many years! If i give you half my years now I would only have 5 more years to live!
Solara: But isn't 5 years just a small price to pay? To pay to achieve your goal? To show humans that not all demons are the devil themselves?
She said that because she knew this was what would convince her the most. Solara's ability allows her to see the emotional weakness of anyone she touches.
Solara: I will let you decide Kanako… but remember there is a limit of how much time you can spend in my realm… and yours is almost over.
Kanako: if I don't get this light spirit I won't be able to fight off against Vexor it's my only chance to show the world the truth about demons, and after this I will only have 5 years left to try and achieve that goal.
She took a deep breath
Kanako: Alright lets do this Solara
Solara: Ahahaha! Great! I knew you would come to your reasonings! Now watch! This is the spirit that will be your helper in your little time of life you've got left! Appreciate him since he is the only one that accepted to be yours!
A small ball of light appeared and slowly started to get closer to Kanako till the point it entered her body.
Solara: Now, to take what's mine!
Black lightning covered the place and a string of what it seemed like pure aether emerged from Kanako's body into Solara's
Solara: Delicious, I haven't had this much Aether enter my body since the last great holy war with the demons. Ahh the memories that I miss from those days. And now you… You have been my most frequent customer for the past years, I've gotta thank you for the support. Hoping to see you again next time, although there might not be a next time HAHAHAHAHA
Solara snapped her fingers and in a blink of an eye Kanako was on the top of that mountain where she started it all
*Distant whistle sound*
Kanako: Hold…. On… Gareki… I'm…. Coming….
