A lots of children have been orphans because of the war between humans and Slavlords. The parent of those children sacrificed their lives to save the humans from the Slavlords.
The Government decided to give the orphans who are under the age of 15,a building that consist of a room , kitchen and a toilet
Vincent had been crying for several weeks because of the death of his parents.He was shocked when he heard the news of his parents death and didn't believe until he saw their corpse.
Vincent was crying when he heard a knock from the door , he cleaned his tears and ran towards the door to open it . A bulky, muscular man with a long dark moustache , dressed in a military uniform entered.
" Good morning Vincent,I hope you slept well."
"Good morning Captain Eric ,yes, I slept well. I wonder what you are doing here early in the morning ."
"Ooh ,I came to give you the gift your parents told us to give you and I am sorry you received it late since there was a lots of children I delivered packages to."
"Sir, you don't need to apologize , I understand your job."
" Vincent , did you remember what tomorrow is ?."
" Tuesday " , Vincent replied
"Of course tomorrow is Tuesday , it is also the Military school exam and I guess you are 15"
"Yes sir , am 15"
"Good, don't forget to come to the military station zone at 6:30am tomorrow to wait for the bus that will take you to the capital for your exam , I wish you good luck"
"Thank you sir,I will surprise you tomorrow "
"Anyways bye", Captain Eric said while giving Vincent his package as he leave the Vincent's house.
Vincent closed the door and ran to his bedroom with the package getting ready to open it.
He opened the package and saw a paper .
The paper was folded inside the package ,he took the paper and unfolded it .He saw a handwriting that looks familiar to his dad on the paper .
"Vincent,I know by the time you received this paper l and your mother would have been dead.What you are about to read must be kept as a secret .I belong to the bloodivore race ,not only that but I am also the leader of the race .The leadership position was passed to me by my father,your grandfather,so this means you will need to take on the leader position.I know you might be thinking that I am silly since i know you don't have any ability but I will still tell you the place where you need to be chosen for the leadership position.
There is an underground layer located at our house and the secret passage to the layer is in my room ,the password is your mother's birthday.Inside the layer there is a crystal ,all you have to do is to touch the crystal and when the crystal colour turns to red then you are chosen for the position.
