Would you mind if I sit here? as you can see all the seats are full". The girl said to him in a bit nervousness.
"Well, someone is coming to meet me at 9m, till then you can sit here". Said by Alastair looking at his watch.
The girl sat down and thanked him for allowing her to sit. She told him that she only needs 20 minutes as she had to sent an important email to her employer. She grabbed out the laptop from her bag and started writing her email. She was probably in her early twenties. Alastair thought her as a workaholic.
"Would you mind if I ask you one thing?" The girl said smilingly.
"Yeah, sure". Alastair said it but he was disinterested.
"Oh we haven't even introduced ourselves. My self Evelyn and your good name?" The girl asked him
"You have a nice name, well I'm Alastair". Alastair said it casually.
"Well, I was asking about whom are you waiting for?" Evelyn said to him.
"One of my friend's uncle is coming here to meet me".
Alastair lied to her.
"Oh, I thought you are waiting for a girl". Evelyn told him in a surprised way.
"Do I look like a person who would wait for a girl?"
Alastair said to her smilingly.
They talked for a few minutes until Evelyn pointed her finger to the outside and said that someone is taking their pictures. Alastair looked at that man and was surprised to see that man's actions. Suddenly there came a call in Alastair's phone, it was an unknown number. He answered the phone and he found the person next to the call is "Adam Sullivan".
"Hello, Where are you are? Are you coming or not?" Alastair told him seriously.
"The plan has changed, and now I don't need that card anymore, you can keep it hahahahah". The man burst out in laughing and hung the phone.
"What, what? Hey listen?" Alastair was furious.
"What happened? Is everything alright?" Evelyn asked him.
Alastair told her that what he said earlier was a lie, he wasn't supposed to meet his friend's uncle but a man whom had connection in his friend's disappearance. he told her everything how he got the card and was almost successful in letting the man in there.
"Give me that phone number, whom called you earlier". Evelyn said to him.
"Well, here it is but what will you do?" Don't tell me if you are going to ask the police". Alastair cried.
"I'm not a foolish who will go for the police, Give me some minutes and I'll show you something". Evelyn told him.
Evelyn was doing something in her laptop, Alastair was just staring at her, he could never thought that she could be someone who can track number in minutes. She sat next to her and showed him her laptop.
"Here it is see. The man was here in 20 minutes ago, so it could be possible that the man who was capturing our pictures was him. And see his last location was in north italain hotel, just 5 minutes ago. His yesterday's last location was also there, which means he is staying in that hotel". Evelyn told him.
"He told me that he doesn't need that card anymore which means he is trying to flee away from here. I don't have much time, I have to go the italian north hotel to find him". Alastair said to her.
Well, right. I'll come with you Alastair. Evelyn said to him.
"You are too kind Evelyn, thank you for your every help but I can't risk your life for my work". Alastair said to her showing his gratitude.
"You said you don't have much time, I came here by my car and I'll come to you, you'll reach there in minutes and don't worry about me. Please accept it I'll tell you who really I am. Emily said to him".
Alastair accepted her help and they both went outside the cafe where Evelyn brought out her car and they both moved on the way to catch that man "Adam Sullivan".
