Now that he had completed several tasks on his checklist, Kaden left the city, relieved that this time he could afford a much cheaper carriage that didn't bankrupt him.
"This thing is amazing." He tossed the inscribed gemstone up and down as he leisurely lounged in the carriage. The gemstone glimmered in the sunlight, creating a beautiful display. However, Kaden's expression turned sour whenever his gaze fell upon the rune.
The damn thing had cost him a thousand gold coins!
"It's fine. It'll all be worth it if I can learn the inscription skill from that old bastard," he reassured himself.
As Kaden contemplated his options, he realized there were three paths available to him in terms of the craftsman classes. One was to pursue the inscription craft from the cunning old man, another was to explore the blacksmith inheritance, and the third was the alchemy path.
