As Kaden closed his eyes and concentrated, he reached out with his senses, trying to tap into the underlying mana that permeated the world around him. He allowed his awareness to expand, feeling the subtle energy currents and vibrations around him.
At first, it was a faint sensation, like a distant hum. But as Kaden honed his focus, the mana grew more tangible, swirling and pulsating in response to his inner connection.
"Ok. Here it goes." He sucked in a big breath of air and was about to 'inhale' the mana when suddenly something unexpected happened. The mana swirls that he was vaguely sensing became so much more vivid.
Kaden became overwhelmed as the mana swirls transformed into a dazzling display of vibrant colors. The vague shades somehow became distinct specs.
"What the…" Kaden gaped with his eyes closed and mouth open. He had only heard about something like this and never in his life expected that he would actually be able to see such a marvelous sight.
