Chapter 3 - Rudra's Rise

As I walked through the city, I noticed that the demons seemed to avoid me. It was like they sensed that I was different, that I didn't belong to their world. I wondered if I had some sort of power that I didn't know about.

My curiosity led me to seek out Suzune again, hoping she could shed some light on the world of demon hunters and demons. She was surprised to see me again so soon, but she welcomed me with open arms.

"Rudra, it's good to see you again. What brings you here?" she asked.

"I've been thinking a lot about what you told me earlier. About regalias and demon techniques. I want to know more," I replied.

Suzune smiled, pleased with my eagerness to learn. "Well, Rudra, let me explain."

She went on to tell me about the world of Unique Skills, Regalias, and Demon Techniques. Unique Skills were abilities possessed by humans that allowed them to perform supernatural feats, such as telekinesis or super strength. Regalias were objects imbued with the power of gods that were used by the demon hunters to fight demons. And demon techniques were abilities possessed by demons that allowed them to manipulate their surroundings or attack their enemies.

Suzune explained that demon hunters were trained to use regalias to fight demons and protect the city. They were also taught how to use their own unique skills to enhance their fighting abilities. But the demons were getting stronger and more numerous, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for the demon hunters to keep them at bay.

"As a regalia wielder, you would be a valuable asset to the Demon Hunter Corps," Suzune said. "But we need to find out what your abilities are first."

I nodded, eager to discover my own unique skills. Suzune promised to take me to see Kurokawa, the commander of the Demon Hunter Corps, who could help me discover my abilities.

As we walked through the city, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the world I had stumbled into. It was a world of darkness and danger, but also one of wonder and mystery. I knew that I had a role to play in all of this, and I was determined to discover what that role was.

When we arrived at the headquarters of the Demon Hunter Corps, I was struck by the level of activity. People were rushing around, weapons were being loaded, and preparations were being made for what I assumed was a mission.

We were led to a room where Kurokawa was waiting for us. He was a tall, imposing man with a stern expression. He studied me for a moment before speaking.

"So, you're Rudra," he said. "Suzune has told me about you. You're a regalia wielder, but we don't know what your abilities are yet."

I nodded, feeling nervous under his intense gaze.

"Your regalia is your weapon," Kurokawa continued. "It is imbued with the power of a god, and it will enhance your abilities as a fighter. But first, we need to awaken its power."

He handed me a small, unremarkable-looking object. "This is your regalia. You need to focus your energy on it and awaken its power. It may take some time, but keep trying."

I held the sword in my hand, feeling its weight and power. Kurokawa nodded approvingly.

"Your regalia has awakened," he said. "Now we can begin to train you as a demon hunter."

Suzune stepped forward. "Rudra also possesses a unique skill called Mystic Eyes of Perception. It allows him to see inside a demon and see the dead."

Kurokawa raised an eyebrow. "Interesting. We could use someone with that kind of ability."

He turned to me. "Your training will be rigorous and dangerous, but if you're willing to commit yourself, you could become a valuable member of the Demon Hunter Corps."

I nodded, feeling a sense of determination welling up inside me. This was what I had been searching for, a purpose and a way to make a difference in the world.

Kurokawa looked impressed. "It seems that you have awakened your regalia's power, Rudra. That's a good sign. But there's still more to learn."

He led me to a training room, where I was taught the basics of fighting with a regalia. I practiced swinging the sword, learning how to parry and dodge attacks. The sword felt light and balanced in my hand, and I knew that I was meant to wield it.

As I trained, I began to feel a sense of purpose. I was no longer just a lost soul wandering through the city. I had found my place in this world as a demon hunter, and I was determined to be the best one I could be.

Over the next few weeks, I continued to train and hone my skills. I learned how to use my unique abilities to enhance my fighting, and I discovered new techniques for battling demons.

As I grew stronger, I also began to learn more about the demons themselves. They were not just mindless monsters, as I had once thought. They had their own motivations and desires, and some even possessed a sense of honor and loyalty.

One day, Kurokawa called me into his office. "Rudra, we have a mission for you," he said.

I felt a surge of excitement at the thought of going on a real mission. "What is it?" I asked eagerly.

"There's a group of demons that have been causing trouble in a nearby town. We need you to go there and take care of them," Kurokawa explained.

I nodded, ready for the challenge. "I won't let you down, Commander," I said.

Kurokawa gave me a serious look. "Remember, Rudra, demons are not to be underestimated. Be careful, and use all of your training to defeat them."

I left the headquarters and set out for the town, determined to complete my mission. As I walked through the streets, I could feel the presence of the demons. They were hiding, waiting for me to make a move.

I drew my sword and prepared for battle. The demons emerged from the shadows, snarling and hissing. They were grotesque creatures, with twisted features and razor-sharp claws.

I took a deep breath and charged at them, my sword flashing in the sunlight. The battle was intense, but I fought with all of my training and skill. I dodged their attacks and landed blows of my own, using my unique abilities to gain an advantage.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, the last demon fell to the ground, defeated. I was battered and bruised, but I felt a sense of triumph. I had completed my mission and proved myself as a demon hunter.

As I walked back to the headquarters, I knew that my journey was far from over. There would be more battles to fight, more demons to defeat. But I was ready for whatever lay ahead. I am Rudra, a regalia wielder and a demon hunter, and I was ready to face any challenge that came my way.
