Lost, heartbroken and doomed. Zack's fate is now closer than he can imagine after an inexcusable failure in Zootopia. He is being escorted to Gryphonia with a dropship accompanied by two squadrons of Gryphon forces. His wounds have been bandaged and now he must face the wrath of the empress of the secluded kingdom of Gryphonia.
The squadron now reached the borders of Gryphonia. There is a humongous barrier made of thunderstorms and maelstroms. It is Gryphonia's greatest defensive weapon that prevents any unwanted aircraft or ships from passing beyond this point further into the city. The whole metropolis is encircled by this artificial storm. The city itself is situated hundreds of miles away from these thunderstorms.
Gryphon Squad Leader: This is Cyclone Six, we're escorting an Onyx dropship to the Odynhood Palace. I'm requesting permission to enter Gryphonia's territory.
Gryphon Border Guardian Unit: Permission granted. Disengaging Thunderbringer now. Welcome back, Cyclone Six.
A small portion of the barrier now known as The Thunderbringer opens for the aircraft to pass through. It takes the squadron several minutes to fly through the opening before it closes behind them. They pass the barrier and the city is still nowhere to be seen in the distance. It's still quite far. After nearly two hours of flying, a monumental tower surfaces on the horizon. It belongs to the Odynhood Palace and it is centered in the middle of the city. The rest of the metropolis is slowly becoming visible as the squadron approaches it. Gryphonia highly resembles Zootopia, as it was built by the same architecture before the animals that lived there were cast out. But unlike Zootopia, it is an imperial archipelago. It's divided into five islands. There are many bridges and railroads connecting the islands. The main island is located in the center along with the Odynhood Palace, it is the heart of the city. The baleful and tyrannical Empress Neyla Odynhood rules over the kingdom with a totalitarian regime. Many have tried to defy her power but those who were disloyal to her were brutally punished.
The Gryphon squadron successfully escorted Zack's dropship to the landing zone near the imperial palace. As Zack and his Onyx guards leave the dropship, Gryphon guards approach them to escort them to the empress. They leave the landing zone and enter the enormous courtyard of the palace. There are monumental statues on both sides of the courtyard. Zack is then brought to the throne room. It is a large hall with a red carpet in the middle of it leading directly to the imposing throne itself where Neyla sits. She has purple fur with blue markings and wears a royal black dovetail coat. There are two hulking Gryphon Imperial Guardians standing on her left and right sides wielding red glowing battleaxes.
Neyla: Subject Alpha, welcome back to your home. I've been expecting you.
Zack bows before his empress.....
Zack: Your Highness, you may probably be aware of what just happened. I would like to earnestly apologize for letting you down. There was nothing I could do to save Operation Thunderbolt from being compromised.
Neyla: I will not accept your apology Subject Alpha, if you came here with the hopes of being forgiven, then you just walked into the wrong place. You will not be granted absolution. That's not how things work here.
Zack: My fate lies in your hands then. I tried to be what you thought was the key to Zootopia's destruction. I really did. Turns out I am nothing but a defect, just get rid of me, the disgrace I am for your people and empire.
Neyla: And you were supposed to become the warchief of the Gryphon army. You are utterly unfit for that rank. What was I thinking? I believed in you Alpha. You were destined to do great things that would make my empire spread across more lands and bring us more wealth while getting our revenge! Now we are back to where we were ten years ago. Just think about it. Ten years of hard work down the drain, all of our hopes were lost just within a few hours thanks to your negligence.
Zack: I was way too stubborn and reckless. I thought....I thought I had the power to sail through my mission.
Neyla: It's nice to see you fess up like that. Now, there's something that really intrigues me. Where is the Reinvigorator?!
Zack: Neyla....I am sorry. It has fallen into our enemy's hands....
Neyla stands up from her throne.....
Neyla: THAT JUST SEALS YOUR FATE!
Neyla gives her guardians a sign and they walk down to Zack and his Onyx units. They fatally slash them behind Zack...
Zack: What was that for?
Neyla: They have become futile, just like you!
Zack: What are you going to do? Cut me in half too?
Neyla: You are no use to me anymore. You will be kept hibernated in a cryo chamber for many years to come until you'll be needed to serve someone else. I hope you lived your life in full glory because it is about to be suspended.
Zack: Then you are no longer my Empress. I shall not bow down to you anymore!
Neyla: That's fine. I am no longer your mighty Empress. Your service ends here Subject Alpha. How sad....
A tiger with black fur and orange stripes enters the throne room with two Gryphon guards following him.
Nero: So, this is that shameful subject, a failed creation that could not bring his crucial mission to fruition...
Zack: And who in the blazing hell are you?
Nero: I am your replacement, Subject Alpha. I am Nero Archervile, a royal Gryphon battalion commander and soon to be Supreme Commander of the Odynhood Empire Army!
Zack: You took my place.... I hope you'll enjoy yourself doing the bidding of your Empress on top of her army like a true bootlicker!
Nero: Mind your language, you crude defective creature! Something must've gone really wrong during your development in the laboratories.
Zack: I may be a failed creation, but I can still kick your ass anytime anywhere.
Nero: C'mon, strike me if you dare!
Neyla: ENOUGH! Take the defect to the cryo chamber!
Gryphon Guardians start escorting Zack out of the throne room....
Nero: I'll miss you at my inauguration Subject Alpha. We shall meet again, in the future.
Zack: Nothing lasts forever, neither your supremacy Neyla.
Nero: Wise last words....
Neyla: I will prove you wrong, Subject Alpha, I will. Your impending ejection from my forces will ensure you will no longer be a nuisance to my empire.
The Gryphon Guardians escort Zack out of the throne room and now it's just Neyla, Nero and a couple of other guards present in the room.
Neyla: Commander Archervile, get ready for your preferment. You are worthy enough to deserve the rank of a Supreme Commander.
Nero kneels in front of his empress....
Nero: I am giving you my word of honor, I will serve you and even sacrifice my life for you if it will be needed.
Neyla: Your name will be dignified soon. Hereby I declare you the Supreme Commander of the Odynhood Army. May your service and loyalty be eternal. The army is now entirely in your hands! A public announcement will be made later today during the ceremony.
Nero: I will serve you well and I will protect our kingdom at all costs. Your wish is my command...
Neyla: Now excuse me, I need some time to be alone. I need to contemplate our future.
Nero: Your Highness, I know you're feeling down after that failed operation, perhaps we can launch a nuclear attack on that metropolis to ameliorate your disappointment.
Neyla: You think that would be a great remedy for this problem? It is what my initial plans were but this is not what my father wanted. We will go silent for many years again until we resurface from the pit of darkness, fully prepared to take back what belongs to us.
Neyla then walks down the red carpet and leaves Nero alone in the throne room with his guards.
- Cryo Chamber Room -
Zack has been forced to lie down in one of the cryo chambers as part of his punishment.
Zack: My wounds....you can't put me asleep with fresh wounds like these....
Cryo Chamber Operator: The chambers are made to help subjects like you recover from their injuries while they sleep. You don't need to worry about that.....
Zack: Let's get this over with....
The cryo chamber closes and then Zack is engulfed by a steam of sub-zero temperature....
Cryo Chamber Operator: Subject Alpha successfully hibernated.
And that's how you force a living organism to hibernate itself. Zack is no longer conscious as his organs have been suspended. The future is not looking bright for him as of right now.
We will now follow Neyla, she has entered a room with one chamber in the middle of it. It appears her father, Byron Odynhood is being kept here. He's somewhat alive. The injuries and damage he received during The First Battle for Zootopia made him half dead. His body is unable to function properly due to the injuries inflicted. The Reinvigorator was the only way of bringing him back to life. Neyla is now desperately searching for a new way of bringing him back. He seems to be missing one arm and one leg. He lost them in a battle when he was ultimately defeated by ....a sergal, which then led to the banishment of the Gryphonians.
Neyla kneels in front of his chamber as tears drip down her face.... She speaks to him with a downcast voice.....
Neyla: Father.....I will find a way to resurrect you. I promise. We shall conquer Zootopia together one day as father and daughter. That time will come. It's inevitable. It's just.....that I don't think I can do this much longer. I was....never supposed to have the throne. Everybody hates me. They all speak to me with disdain, I wasn't destined to be the ruler of Gryphonia. I need you back dad...I really do. I must find a way to control this pressure I am getting from our people otherwise I will be lost and forgotten. I won't rest till I have brought you back to life...
A couple hours later, Nero Archervile was officially chosen as Gryphonia's Supreme Commander during a ceremony. His rise to power will make Gryphonia's Army much stronger and bigger. It's only a matter of time till another battle of two kingdoms begins...
