As I was about to be dealt a fatal wallop, that fist visible before my very eyes, our Trinity appeared with his own counter, myself noticing his powered kick as it missed me by a hair. He was targeting the Darkling's face.
I was pushed back into Shantee's arms and Nuker immediately released his Metal Spikes, those heavy drilling bullets that caused a wall to explode over a wide area before us, this immediately causing us to be separated from the fiend.
It also left him with the Captain!

"Makia!" They had to stop me.

What...what was going on? The Captain and the Darkling on the other side of that wall appeared to be at a cease. They stood a distance from one another, but neither moved.
