"Let's see if you can say the same word tomorrow?" As soon as these words escaped his lips he grabbed my waist. His other hand grabbed my neck. He inhaled my scent and began to say in a dead-serious tone,
"Listen up, Ester. Don't think that I've accepted you as my wife," My breath hitched as tears brimmed in my eyes. His words pierced my heart. He brought me close to him, and our bodies met. He put his chin on my shoulder.
"Why?" my voice came out like a vague whisper.
"Why do you marry me, If you don't want to work it out?" I said, trying my best not to cry.
"Believe me. If I can, I would have worked it out," that was his only reply. Before I could say anything else, he continued, "So? Where was I?" He said in his supreme tone. He brought himself close to me and I shivered in fright.
