I was woken by a loud knock at my hotel door. The knocking persisted until I finally shouted, “OKAY!! I’m up!”
The person on the other side of the door chuckled before saying, “You’ve got twenty minutes, and then we are pulling out.”
I sighed wishing I could sleep a little longer. The sun was barely up and they were ready to hit the road. I brushed my teeth. Then threw a pair of jeans, a plain white crop top, and a pair of white vans.
I grabbed my backpack and checked the room to make sure I didn’t leave anything. The rest of my bags were still stuffed in the trunk of Evander’s car.
I opened the door and Evander was standing directly in front of me. “I thought I was going to have to come in there and get you.”
“What? A girl can’t brush her teeth and dress.” I said in a rude tone as I brushed past him.
