Daisy couldn't focus on the teacher's lesson; her mind was consumed by Edward's words and her own insecurities. As she heard him say, "I was bothered by seeing Marcel because I knew he would act again," she couldn't help but feel hurt. She interpreted it as Edward not being concerned about her but rather annoyed by Marcel's actions.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but she tried her best to hold them back. She entered the classroom with her head hung low, hoping to avoid drawing attention to herself. Edward followed and sat down next to her as usual, but she felt a sense of unease, convinced that people were staring at her. This only added to her anxiety, and she silently prayed that she wouldn't break down and make a scene in front of everyone, especially Edward.
