Ella looks up at him, astonished, blinking her eyes in the meantime. "I, uh," she tries to process the sudden offer but is unable to. She rubs her palms together, glancing at his raised hands. "I, but why?"
"Because I am interested in your work," Adam clarifies.
"But you didn't see it," Ella hisses lightly.
"I want to."
"Why?" Ella asks, all confused.
"I feel like it," Adam says, shrugging his shoulders, his hand still in the air.
"But it's not for sale!" Ella frowns.
"Then what is it for?" Adam asks, raising an eyebrow.
"It's for an exhibition," Ella mumbles.
"Oh, then tell me," Adam says deadpan.
"What?" Ella whispers out loud.
"Tell me where the exhibition is and when it is."
"I will be coming," Adam announces.
"Wait! what?"
"You want me to come to my exhibition?" Ella asks, pointing her index finger at herself.
"Yes, thank God you got it."
"Now tell me the details," Adam replies, sighing in relief.
