Osikae's words were profound, and he knew what he said was right. But still, ripping the hope of life away from a dying man's shaking hands was still heart-wrenching for any human being.
However, Osikae didn't look back. Gritting his teeth, he charged forward with a stoic expression.
Inside the estate property, there were several large buildings. A grand Chinese-style house with several pointed roofs. A smaller complex for guests. A training room, a room for maids and butlers. All of these were evidence that this was the Hyroon family's estate.
However, the blood didn't seem to be coming from any of these places. Instead, it came from another building a bit farther back. The estate met with the face of one of the mountains that the city was in between. The mountainside was carved into, causing a gaping cavern to be seen.
