Raphael: I can't believe this was the reason I was told to come into my office. This lynx has no idea how much time we wasted by bringing these intruders to our attention. Needless to say, he did a great job by doing this. Letting them go would have resulted in disastrous consequences.
Blake: Yeah, so what's been bothering you lately? You wouldn't call me if you didn't have a problem to solve. I was also supposed to have a day off today, just so you know!
A series of three forceful knocks resounds on the door, cutting off the discussion between Blake and Raphael.
Blake: Oh, not again; I assume this must be that dreadful...
The door bursts open, revealing Kyle once more, bloodied, and dragging Nicole's lifeless body across the floor, leaving a gruesome trail of blood in his wake.
Blake: Lynx....
Kyle: Your package has been delivered, Don Raphael.
He throws Nicole's body in front of Raphael's table...
Raphael: Are you back already?!
Raphael sighs in annoyance.
Kyle: Is there anything else you would like me to do?
Raphael: Yes, definitely! Clean the damn floor!
Kyle: Oh, my apologies, your majesty. It will be glossy and clean in no time!
He whistles loudly, and his servants start cleaning the floor in the hallway.
Blake: You're a damn idiot, Kyle. A worthless piece of shit killing the innocent. Why didn't you spare her? I've had enough of your carnage. Raphael, why not just dismiss this simpleton already?
Raphael: Blake! Quiet!
Blake: Well, excuse me, Raphael, but I'd rather happily get the hell out of here now and wait for you in the conference room just so I don't need to talk to this trash...
Kyle: BLAKE! For future reference, are you afraid of death? Because you better be. Your blood has huge significance to me.
Blake: I am not afraid of anything death-related, but I am afraid of being the one dismembering you one day. So, are you done yet? We've threatened each other. Now we are even, wacko.
Kyle: Exercise caution in your choice of words when addressing me, for there may come a day when you find yourself among my loyal servants!
Raphael: Do not start monkeying around again! Now, dump her damn corpse.
Kyle: Yes, Don Raphael.
Kyle lifts Nicole's lifeless body and carries her outside, closing the door behind him.
Blake: I'll meet you in the conference room then.
Raphael: Good. I'll be there soon! I have to make a phone call with someone beforehand. You may leave the room.
Blake rises from his seat and exits the office. Upon stepping outside, he observes the hallway entirely deserted, devoid of GFC members or Kyle's followers. The only sound is the loud music emanating from the main hall, filled with criminals. He walks forward with confidence, feeling a sense of relief at the absence of obstacles. Suddenly, someone yanks him into one of the dimly lit corridors. It turns out to be Kyle, who forcefully shoves Blake against the wall.
Kyle: Hello, my loathsome nemesis! We have an unfinished business!
Blake: I knew you'd show up! What are you up to now? I've had enough of your wicked behavior! Let's just settle it once and for all. What the hell do you want? I thought we were even.
Kyle seizes Blake by the jacket with both hands and forcefully pulls him across the corridor, slamming him against the wall. Blake responds with a laugh and a sigh at the end.
Blake: I know you're pissed off at me because of what happened in Raphael's office...you know? That's what you get for being a giant asshole with no brain.
Kyle becomes extremely agitated, seizing Blake by the neck and hoisting him off the ground, pressing him against the wall. He applies a slight chokehold as he begins to speak to him in a distinctly menacing tone full of evil.
Kyle: You disrespected me back there! You meddling little fox! Let me tell you something. I am known as the KAT! I am supposed to punish deceitful members of the clan, criminals, and intruders. I am the deliverer of pain, the reaper of souls. You get it? Everyone in this clan has a specific role, and everyone joined for a reason!!!
Kyle throws Blake against the wall on the opposite side of the corridor. Blake falls to the floor, coughing. He then stands up and faces Kyle.
Blake: That's because you deserved it! You always pick the violent way of dealing with things or people, especially innocents!!! Your sick mind is full of immorality, and it's unable to accept failure and denial!!!! You won't achieve shit with your deleterious behavior!
Kyle forcefully presses him against the wall while tightly gripping his shoulder.
Kyle: Your understanding is quite mistaken. I deserve honor! Respect! So stop ruining my reputation, you argumentative piece of shit! If you try to oppose me one more time, that's going to be the end for you!
Kyle draws one of his daggers and thrusts it into the wall, narrowly missing Blake's neck.
Kyle: And I assure you, no one will prevent me from exacting my vengeance upon you. You are nothing but a worthless being! We are now even. Keep in mind that should our paths cross again, particularly at dusk, you will never witness the dawn again.
Blake: Your words lack importance to me. Get lost already, you freak, and you're wasting my time...
Kyle: Before I fade into the darkness, tell me why you joined our clan.
Blake: I said get lost...
Kyle: Why did you join? ANSWER!
Blake exhales anxiously and responds...
Blake: Alright, if that's what you want, and my response gets you off my back. Raphael stepped in to help right after a gang of thugs took my family from me, promising to hunt down those scumbags if I became part of his crew. I made the choice to join this clan so he could track down the ones responsible for that attack, but it seems he hasn't had any success. He also made me sign a contract, so now I'm stuck here with jerks like YOU! Are you satisfied now? That's the reason I joined. Now, just leave me alone!
Kyle starts talking to Blake sarcastically...
Kyle: What a sad story... I even shed a tear. Give me some tissues, will you? Okay, whatever happened with your family, it has become history that should be forgotten! Do not dwell in the past. You will be able to send them my regards soon and tell them that Uncle Kyle sent you!
Blake: Dude, you should be so ashamed of yourself! You can't even show a little bit of empathy to others who suffer. Get lost already. I have to go to the meeting, and could you please stop threatening me for at least one day? I don't think you can change me, not one bit at all.
Kyle: I am fated to inflict pain upon others rather than bring them joy! Blake, remain vigilant; I possess the capability to end your life at any moment and in any location without prior notice! I am simply biding my time for the opportune moment to strike! You may leave now, but if you disrespect me and stand in my way once again, I will not hesitate to fracture your skull, extract your spine from your body, and remove your skin!
Under intense pressure and fear, Blake holds Kyle's words in high regard.
Blake: Yes.....
Kyle backs off and disappears in the shadows...
Blake: This can't keep going on repeatedly...
He exhales deeply, filled with sadness, and exits the dimly lit corridor. Moments later, in the conference room... The most esteemed members of the GFC are gathered around a big meeting table, engaged in animated conversation. Blake occupies a seat beside Raphael, while an empty chair awaits an unidentified attendee next to him. Standing directly behind Raphael, his personal bodyguard, Gregory, maintains a vigilant posture with his arms crossed.
Raphael: Silence!
Everyone quietens down...
Raphael: Thank you, Gregory, for assembling my men for an important conversation.
Gregory: No problem, boss.
Blake's friends, Gerald and Jacob are also present.
Gerald: So, the whole place is crowded, boss. We're all ready for the briefing or whatever you have on your mind...
Jacob: Thank God we don't need to stand by the entrance door frozen and guard it like watchdogs...
Raphael: Alright! Keep your witty remarks for yourselves. Where shall we begin? So....
The moment Raphael starts to speak, a member of the GFC crashes through the door, bloody, beaten up, desperately in need of assistance. Following closely behind is an unusual wolf characterized by its orange fur, blue markings, striking red mane, and blue eyes. This wolf is outfitted in a combat suit, with an M16 rifle slung across its back and a pistol secured in a holster. All eyes are fixed on him as he walks into the conference room.
Raphael: Impossible! You...you must be...
Wolfward: Agent Wolfward, I extend my apologies for my delayed arrival. The traffic conditions in Zootopia have become quite congested recently. You must be the individual with whom I spoke on the phone, as I can distinctly recall your unpleasant voice full of malice.
Gregory: Boss, how come they didn't disarm him at the entrance, and... how is it possible he even got here?
Raphael: This situation raised significant doubts. What on earth happened out there?
The sudden appearance of this mysterious and peculiar wolf, along with his unconventional method of reaching the compound, has left everyone in a state of astonishment.
Raphael: You were supposed to call me after you arrived, not relentlessly knock everyone out in your way. You even used one of my men to lead you to your destination.
Gregory: Trespassing is not tolerated, Mr. Wolfward.
Raphael: You heard Gregory! We were expecting your arrival, but you weren't authorized to enter the compound. I told you to call me! I would send some of my men to escort you to this room.
Wolfward: It appears that their intentions were not to deceive or manipulate me. There is no need for concern; I have incapacitated those individuals in the corridor. To be candid, a few of them may have sustained fractures in their jaws or arms, but it is possible that some are experiencing significant concussions too. However, I assure you that they are entirely out of danger.
Raphael: You just indiscriminately incapacitated them in your path. This warrants significant criticism!
Wolfward: They hold little significance. You will get over it. Now, let us discuss!
He cracks his joints and makes his way to the meeting table. All the members of the GFC draw their firearms, with the exception of Blake, and aim them at Agent Wolfward.
Wolfward: I want to make it clear that I do not accept the behavior of your associates. I expected a warm welcome, but it seems you view me unfavorably. Whatever issues have arisen, it's time to move on. They brought this upon themselves. Now, I suggest you put those firearms aside, and Raphael, perhaps you could guide your team of monkeys to adopt a more amiable demeanor. Offering them bananas instead of firearms might improve their appearance significantly.
Gerald: You're lucky Kyle isn't here, pal!
Wolfward: Kyle? I heard of him. He disgusts me, and I think... he is, in fact, the lucky one who avoided me. He's hidden under his mommy's skirt, shivering in fear. So, where's the disco ball? I thought you were arranging a party over here.
Jacob: Guys, this wolf is awesome! He is my kind! I mean, c'mon! We should all appreciate his presence here. He's trying to help us!
Jacob is met with disapproving glances from everyone around him, with several individuals visibly rolling their eyes in frustration.
Jacob: Oh, nevermind.
Raphael: Wolfward, have you arrived with the intention of causing a disturbance? Do you seek to be perceived as a formidable and relentless nuisance? This is not a damn circus! You brainless buffoon! I've hired you for a purpose. You are fortunate to hold such a crucial position in this room at this moment. Now get your obdurate ass over here and sit down! The chair is yours.
Wolfward: Raphael, these boneheads are still aiming their water guns at me! I feel considerably unsettled! I am way too scared to even make the tiniest step.
Raphael: You heard the cute wolf. Guns down.
Everyone puts their gun away...
Wolfward: Now we're talking!
Gerald: You shouldn't act like this here. You have no idea about the firepower of the GFC! So, could you please stop acting like a dominant alpha wolf here before we, let's say, wipe you out for good? Raphael, you clearly hired the wrong operative for this job!
The consensus in the room aligns with Gerald, but then Wolfward begins to pace slowly around the table, creating an atmosphere of discomfort among the others.
Wolfward: So, I shouldn't act like this? Allow me to properly express myself like a man and spit some truth into your faces! This organization is devoid of adequate defenses, a fact I have personally observed. It is remarkably vulnerable to attack. If you believe that you possess formidable firepower, you are mistaken. Your strength is lacking. I could easily ravage this place if I really wanted to. It is no surprise that Raphael seeks my assistance, along with my highly skilled operatives. My reputation is of little concern; you may either choose to distance yourselves from me, assault me, or seek my friendship. The manner in which you choose to engage with me will determine whether I am perceived as a benevolent ally or a formidable adversary. After all, how could one possibly mistreat a charming and attractive wolf such as myself? Lastly, my primary motivation is financial gain. I regard you as inconsequential and impoverished. I do not require your assistance, as I have my own capable team waiting for me outside. My sole interest lies in conversing with your leader, Raphael. So, please, keep your dirty muzzles shut tight!
He approaches the empty chair beside Blake and breaks the silence that surrounds him.
Wolfward: Hey, you! You didn't even point your gun at me. Why? You sit in complete silence, pal. Are you okay?
Wolfward sits next to Blake...
Blake: I just don't like getting involved in conversations that are none of my concern.
Wolfward: That's good! You seem to be a pretty friendly fella to me. See? Why aren't you all as quiet and gentle as this fella over here? What's your name?
Blake: Does it really matter?
Wolfward: Yes, it does. I am going to need to call you somehow during the operation, and...you...oh my...you remind me of someone from my childhood I loved with all my heart.
Blake: Okay? It's ....Blake.
Wolfward: Blake?
Wolfward becomes silent and dejected...
Blake: Are you okay?
Wolfward: Blake...
Blake: YES?!
Wolfward: It's nothing....sorry. Raphael, you may begin the briefing.
Raphael: Have you had enough of your trivial chatter? Brilliant!
Gregory: Excuse me, boss. Are you truly considering overlooking this situation? His behavior towards us has been quite disrespectful, and I would strongly advise against placing your trust in him.
Raphael: I don't really care what he thinks about us, provided he fulfills his responsibilities effectively. Now, let us proceed to the primary focus of this assembly: the long-anticipated briefing, but first, something about our purpose. This organization offers essential support to criminals, equipping them with the necessary resources to excel in their endeavors. Their contributions are vital to the prosperity of our clan. While many criminals reside deep within the city or its surrounding areas, a significant number live here with us underground. Some choose to leave Zootopia to establish their lives in foreign lands, yet they remain accountable for the security of our organization. If any of the criminals or mafia members are apprehended and exposed by law enforcement, they are required to maintain silence regarding all activities related to our organization and its members. I am concerned that my old acquaintance and former member of the Golden Fang Clan, Victor Barker, may be involved in actions that could jeopardize our safety. He has a substantial debt to me! I spoke with him over the phone, but he is reluctant to cooperate unless we send Blake to his location. That loquacious punk referred to me as a pirate before abruptly ending the call.
Most of the clan members begin to chuckle and laugh softly at Raphael.
Raphael: What are y'all laughing at?
Everybody quietens down, and some members clear their throats.
Raphael: Kindly stop with the damn mockery!
Wolfward: It is essential to instruct that rabbit on the crucial principles of proper conduct in the presence of one's superiors!
Blake: Let's get straight to the point. Are you telling me that he insists I come to his place? Does he really want to have a personal conversation with me?
Raphael: Correct! I need you to take care of him! But you're not going alone. We're dispatching other operatives to his location along with you. Agent Wolward's pack of well-trained wolves will provide you with help. Victor does not await anyone else besides you. So we're taking advantage of this situation. We will use you to divert his attention while the rest of the gang prepares for an ambush.
Blake: But what exactly did he do wrong that he needs to be urgently taken into custody? With all due respect, I am not willing to hurt him in any way or kill him. He is a really good friend of mine who always stood by my side and supported me. Well, mostly annoyed me, to be honest.
Raphael: Don't worry, we're not killing him unless it is damn necessary due to his defiance. We don't know what he is up to, and guess what? He is the only client we are unable to reach. We don't know where exactly in Bunnyburrow he resides.
Blake: Client?
Raphael: To provide clarity, I will elaborate on the situation. Several months ago, he entered into a contract with us. As you may be aware, he is involved in arms trading and is also a rather foolish comedian, known for his incessant chatter. He possesses a vast arsenal of weapons and drugs. His operations would not have reached such a scale had I not extended a significant loan to him, enabling him to settle his bills, eliminate his debts, and acquire new property. After relocating, he failed to inform us of his new address, which is quite disappointing. All we know is that he resides somewhere in Bunnyburrow. His family was in dire financial straits, and I essentially came to their rescue at his request. At that time, I believed I could trust him, given his previous affiliation with our group. However, I now recognize that I made a grave error, as did he. Instead of utilizing my funds judiciously, he squandered them on an extensive collection of weapons and drugs after addressing his financial obligations. Currently, he is evading repayment of his debts. He owes me a shitton of money. He operates a business dealing in arms and drugs from his disorganized hideout, and it is likely that he has amassed over ten million dollars, if not more. This wealth fundamentally belongs to me! You, along with some of my men and operatives from Wolfward's team, are tasked with visiting his residence to detain him and recover all the illicit goods for our clan. Ensure he is brought back to me so that I may seek a resolution without resorting to violence personally. This mission is of utmost importance! Following interrogation, he will be compelled to settle his debts. As a consequence, we will confiscate all profitable assets from his property for our clan and ensure he is imprisoned in one of Kyle's cells within his torture chamber for life. Any questions?
Wolfward: We'll do it as you please, but what if he won't listen to us?
Raphael: If he refuses to cooperate, utilize the tranquilizer dart that we will supply and ensure his belongings are transported back to Zootopia along with him to the designated meeting point. Upon regaining consciousness, he will find himself restrained in a chair, prepared for interrogation. He explicitly stated during our phone conversation that he would be willing to cooperate and take further actions if we sent Blake to his residence. The nature of his interest in Blake remains unclear, so I advise everyone to remain vigilant. Blake, it is imperative that you do not believe anything he may say. Attempt to extract information from him by posing questions before administering the tranquilizer to incapacitate that insignificant rabbit. And Wolfward, be careful in your decision-making and refrain from any clever maneuvers! No backstabbing! I am relying on you and your team! Once he has been dealt with, my men will secure his residence and commence a thorough search for weaponry, drugs, and any items that will make us even wealthier bastards! Be prepared for unexpected developments; he may have hired plenty of bodyguards. Proceed with utmost caution when entering his home.
Wolfward: So this is basically a smuggling operation. Nothing too risky. We have undergone these types of operations numerous times before. Good thing we have four vans outside. We can easily load them with Barker's goods.
Raphael: Excellent! We will use some of our vans too! I also highly advise you to prioritize stealth as much as possible, even during broad daylight. We must avoid drawing the attention of the ZPD, as their involvement would pose significant challenges for us. If the BBPD arrive at the scene and create complications, you are authorized to neutralize them entirely. They are a relatively small police force, and it would take the ZPD over thirty minutes to reach Bunnyburrow to provide assistance. Just keep in mind that this operation is of utmost importance, okay? A successful outcome will enhance our clan's prosperity and position us ahead of other criminal organizations. The items we acquire, including drugs and weaponry, will offset the financial losses incurred due to that self-serving rabbit!
Jacob: This is going to be so awesome! We get to choose whether we want to undertake this operation using stealth or just go full Rambo mode!
Gerald: You better come to your senses, mate! This isn't a damn game, kiddo. There are no revives or second chances. You screw up once, and you can kiss your ass goodbye!
Wolfward: A quick recap: we travel to Bunnyburrow, neutralize the local police if they interfere, have a little chatter with Mr. Barker, disable him, and smuggle all the goods from his house to Zootopia so you suckers can profit from all this shit. Sounds fair... really fair. What about us? It would be prudent to increase the financial offer you presented to my team for the successful execution of this operation.
Raphael: I'll give you a quarter of the profit plus the initial offer of five hundred thousand dollars. Deal?
Wolfward: Deal! You can rely on my team, Raphael. We're all experienced and very proficient at our jobs. Thanks for hiring us!
Raphael: Everyone! You're all briefed. Remember to take your walkie-talkies so you can be in touch with us the whole time during this operation. Agent Wolfward will be the leader of the operation. Make sure you follow his orders, and Blake will lead everyone to Barker's residence.
The individuals seated at the table rise and exit the conference room, making their way to the armory to prepare for the upcoming operation. A few minutes later, outside the hideout, near the deserted parking lot, Blake, Wolfward, and his team are positioned, anticipating the arrival of the GFC members. As the area remains clear, a hydraulic concrete slab descends in the parking lot, revealing several sleek black SUVs that emerge from an underground garage with a few vans. This location serves as concealed storage for all GFC vehicles, completely out of sight. The SUVs and vans come to a halt, awaiting instructions from the operation leader, Wolfward.
Wolfward: It looks like we're all set to go.
Blake: Yeah....
Wolfward: Are you anxious?
Blake: Yeah, I mean... I don't know... I am afraid everything will just...fizzle out. I can already sense there's going to be a shootout, and I don't think I can cope with these circumstances...but who cares? Let's go. We're wasting time. I'll head to my hummer.
As Blake begins to make his way to his car, he is halted by Wolfward, who calls out to him from behind.
Wolfward: Hey! Foxy! Cowardice will destroy you. All you need is a bit of encouragement and confidence!!! I can give you all of that. If you join us,. Come with me!
Blake stops and reflects deeply.
Blake: It's a firm decision. I dunno. I prefer working alone.
Wolfward: Don't be hesitant, and do the right thing! Come with me! We can succeed together if we cooperate. I'd love to talk to you about the whole trip. I know you're broken inside. I want to recruit you. I've finally found you after all of these years...
Blake turns around and stares at Wolfward...
Blake: I can't. I've signed a contract with the GFC. I can't resign and change positions. By the way, why are you so kind to me, and what the hell are you talking about?! You found....ME?!
Wolfward: You still don't recognize me?
Blake: How should I? I've never seen you before...
Wolfward: How could you forget me? Is your memory really that weak? I was the one who stood by you in school, defending you from all those bullies and helping you find the love of your life, the one you ended up marrying. What more can I say to jog your memory and remind you of who I am? Remember our hiking trips and camping adventures in the woods? Still nothing? How about those times we picked up girls during our teenage years? No? Should I keep going? What about the orphanage where we first met? Or those sleepovers we had? You know your adoptive parents were tough on you, especially your dad. Every time you brought home a bad grade, he would really let you have it, so I always invited you to stay over at my place, where we could cuddle up together. I treated you like the brother I never had. Don't tell me you still don't recognize me—just take a good look! You won't find a wolf with these colors anywhere else in Zootopia!
As Wolfward speaks, aiming to rekindle Blake's memory of their true bond, his eyes well up with tears, and his voice carries a tone of sorrow. Blake, feeling the emotion, begins to cry and rushes toward Wolfward, who opens his arms in anticipation of a heartfelt embrace. The two share a powerful hug as Blake exclaims...
Blake: ZACK!!!!!
Zack: That's right! It's me! AT LONG LAST! We've reunited after our ten-year-long separation!!!
Blake cries, his tears falling steadily onto Zack's back as they embrace tightly.
Zack: It's okay, brother. I know you can't explain what you're feeling right now.
Blake and Zack lock eyes, and in a tender moment, Zack gently wipes the tears from Blake's face, caressing his cheeks with care.
Zack: You haven't changed one bit. You're exactly how I remember you from our childhood.
Blake: This can't be real!
Zack: Oh, it is real, bro!
Blake: It cannot be. The reality is just... inconsiderable and cruel... unlike dreams. How did something like this happen to me?
Zack: Life can be tough, and we all face our share of challenges. Pain, heartache, and judgment from others are part of the journey. But it's your resilience that defines you. Just look at how far you've come after everything you've faced! You are truly remarkable and deserving of joy. So, what do you think? Would you prefer to drive your Hummer solo, or would you like to join me in one of our vans for some good conversation on the road? We've got a scammer to confront!
Blake: Thank you so much for reappearing in my life, Zack! And hell yeah! Let's do this!
Zack: We can tackle our operation together without any issues. I promise you I will get you out of here and enroll you in my clan so we can be best friends again and partners in crime after we've completed this operation. What do you say? Will you join The Untamed Brutes? You're welcome anytime in our clan.
Blake: Of course! You will have to discuss this with Raphael, though.
Zack: I'll think of something!
A member of the GFC, seated in the car, lowers the window in frustration after waiting for an extended period and shouts at Blake and Zack.
GFC Member: Hey, can you both stop chatting and get in your cars? We've got a mission to handle!
Both Blake and Zack respond at once:
Blake: & Zack: YOU SHUT THE F@&K UP!
Zack: After you, bro, pick a van.
Blake selects a van, after which Wolfward, now referred to as Zack, instructs everyone to board their respective vehicles. Blake and Zack take their seats in the rear of one of the vans, and the entire convoy consisting of GFC and UBC (Untamed Brutes Clan) departs. They leave Zootopia behind and begin a lengthy and arduous journey to Bunnyburrow to visit Victor Barker.
