As soon the black guy said that,the kids went different directions Cleopatra and Pleth went back to bed, Roger, Jusgracia and Neveo were laying beds while Penthy,Krinsa and Adria headed for the shower. They didn't care if they were of different gender they just wanted to bathe and not risk like Cleo and Pleth. By the end of the 45 minutes all apart from Cleo and Pleth were done so when the guy came back he made Cleo and Pleth clean the toilet and the bathroom which was very disgusting and he told them," I'm giving you an hour when it elapses I want those two spotless and you prepared." Then he told the others,"Come let's go." They were taken to a room that looked much like a gym except fiercer."So all of you take five laps and then we shall start training."He told them. Since she always went for morning jogs with her mom she was able to finish these 5 laps without much difficulty but for the others it was difficult since three of them were fat and the other two well just couldn't do it."Hurry up lazy kids this girl has already reached and you're acting all uh nevermind just hurry up no reduction in laps." And to Adria he whispered"great job what's your name." "Adria. Adria Morris" "Good I'm not showing you any extra attention but little hint if you want to make it here keep your knees up and you'll do just fine also keep your head in the game."
After the others were done, he gave them a resting period of two minutes and made them run through obstacles to prepare them on how to make ' a run for it' after pick pocketing. He then went and got Cleo and Pleth who had actually done the punishment but didn't have enough time to clean up it seems since they smelt nasty. They also did the exercises the others had done and they were good too. At 6 o'clock they were done and taking water and told them to go freshen up and be back by 6:50 for breakfast. As Adria was heading for the shower,Cleo and Pleth blocked her path and Cleo asked that,"Hey girl, why ain't you speaking to rest of us are you dumb or you think you're too cool for us?" BTW go clean my shoes for me I can't go in dirty shoes ,can i bro?" "No you can't sis." Then Penthy tried to intervene by saying,"Guys what you doin' ain't coo_"But was stopped midstatement by Adria who then waltz gracefully got Cleo's shoes took out her pocket knife and cut out the dirty parts in the soles then took them to the siblings saying,"I cut out the dirty parts so I hope those are clean enough for you." "B**ch those were designer."Cleo said then jumped into Adria pushing her to the floor while pulling her hair and Adria tried to get the girl off her which was difficult so she caught something near and hit Cleo's head causing her freedom from crazy Cleo. She then went to the bathroom oblivious of the fact that Cleo had fainted. When she went out of the bathroom, she found Cleo on the ground, Pleth fanning her and the others surrounding them. Adria then heads over to them to carry out the first aid she was taught but Pleth attempts to stop her then says,"You've made her loose consciousness now you want to finish her off." "No you idiot that was defense but now no need for a fight clear the area and I put into practice what I was taught in Red Cross camp." She carries out the procedure after putting Cleo on the bed. By 6:45 Cleo was awake and by 6:50 all were done and had headed to the gym where they met up with the guy who led them to the dining room. in the dining they found more people than they saw yesterday all in different conditions, they then head to the counter where they are served wierd looking food but had no choice but to eat since they were starving.
After that meal, they were taught more skills like pickpocketting, names of drugs and their quality and how to bargain. That was their routine for about 6 months and by then they had lost all hope of being found. Those who understood and did it well were upgraded to an upper class which were practicals which Neveo, Krinsa Penthy, Jusgracia, Adria and the rest did well. Prothylea turned up in a wheelchair and her job was to sit on the streets and beg. She was being injected with different drugs inorder for her to heal faster but the side effects were her looking insane and mistreated which made earning much easier. Roger felt bad about all Prothylea was going through but could do nothing about it. After about a full year of progress, the bosses called Adria,Pleth,Neveo and Krinsa into their office and told them that they'd be working for them onwards.
While working for them more than a half a year passed by and what they were doing wasn't scary, difficult or dangerous for they just had to help strike deals with the consumers of the drugs which they did quite well.
One day one of the guys was reported to be a snitch and Jorin the lady boss shot him despite his pleads for dear life. He was giving out the locations of the sources of the good stuff to the rivals. At first the kids were startled but cooled down when the Jorin told them that,"Inorder to survive and complete your ambitions there is some need for bloodshed."So from that day they were taught fighting and also trained on how to kill and but the blame on someone else or circumstance. They started by killing animals using sharp weapons for about one year then upgraded to the use of guns for about another year. They watched movies that had murder,sale of drugs and life in the ghettos. They were also taken to the areas where Jorin and her brother (Jordan) the bosses killed the snitches,so called witnesses and uncorrupt officers who tried to arrest them. At first Adria couldn't handle all this and prayed her mom would find her soon but after all this time she gave up thinking her mom might and would never find her.
After they caught the gun shoot training, names of different guns , where they'd be best used and how to arrange a gun very fast they started working outside with 5he bosses since it seems that the they had started trusting the kids 5hey also went on trips with them.
On one of the trips, one crazy guy tried to rape her but as she fought she kicked the guy off her took out her gun very fast added a silencer to it then shot the guy dead.
Then she stood looked at the bleeding corpse,her hands and the gun she just used and walked back into the building to find the others. Jorin had seen her through the window and muttered to herself that,"This kid is much stronger than her stupid cowardly father Alex who broke my heart just because I had joined the criminal world." Then she was let to go on more trips after Jorin had told Jordan bout what Adria had done. She became hard hearted that at times when anyone had tried to stop her from achieving her ambitions would end up dead.
The kids she had met on the first day were now inferior to her and were also afraid of her mostly Cleo. After a week, Prothylea Roger's cousin had fully healed but her brain wasn't in the best condition but she could pickpocket very well and most skillfully. After three months, Penthy was announced dead since he had taken an overdose and was cremated because going to the cemetery was a huge risk. A non return addressed package was sent to Penthy's relatives saying he was dead, ashes there and threw of Penthy's pic that were evidence of him being an addict. They made sure not to leave fingerprints on the package, letter and dish that had the ashes.
