Mrs. Ning smiled, and led Wu Jing to the back, where the party was in full swing. It was quite festive, with people singing on the karaoke machine, and the few old people playing mahjong. A group of teenagers around Wu Jing's age were playing at the pool table, laughing and joking.
Mrs. Ning said, "This is where the fun is. Go ahead, mingle with the others. I'll be right back."
Wu Jing nodded and thanked her. He glanced around and saw Ning Yu sitting by the pool table, legs crossed, and engrossed in her phone. She didn't notice him, but he couldn't take his eyes off her face.
