Seeing this, Zhou Ye tried not to show her disappointment. She smiled and said, "I was thinking you could drop me off. You know, since we live in the same direction."
"I'm not going in that direction," he said, wanting to get away from her. "If you'll excuse me, I have other things to do." He walked past her, leaving her behind.
Zhou Ye could only watch him go, feeling hurt. As soon as he was out of sight, she stomped her foot on the ground, feeling angry. "What did I even do this time? I just asked him to drop me off. It's not like I asked him to marry me," she complained, feeling sorry for herself.
She bit her lip and also looked out the window, wondering what he was looking at. Apart from the students walking out of the school gates, there was nothing to look at. Zhou Ye rolled her eyes and walked away, feeling bitter.
