Li Na looked away, feeling doubtful. She sensed that Ning Yu was hiding something from her. But she decided not to push it. Maybe she was just thinking too much.
They continued their walk, heading back to the school premises. Ning Yu spotted a bench under a tree and pointed at it. "Why don't we just sit there for a while?" she suggested.
Li Na agreed and followed her. They reached the bench and sat down, relaxing under the shade of the tree. "Ah, this is nice," Li Na said. "The air here is wonderful." She breathed in deeply, enjoying the fresh and fragrant breeze.
Ning Yu nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it is." She looked around, hoping to distract herself from her thoughts. "Did you see Bai Lu today?"
Li Na shook her head. "Nope, I heard she got suspended." She smiled, feeling satisfied.
