The golden-eyed Li Na sighed. "I was in the room trying to pack up and dip when those stupid mages began their witch hunt," she explained. "I tried to escape, but I didn't think he would come back so early. He kept pounding on the door almost as if he sensed something. I didn't want them to harm him, so I let myself be captured."
The younger Li Na, gazed at her older self. "Didn't you fight back?" she asked.
"Oh, I fought," the golden-eyed Li Na replied, a grim smile playing on her lips. "It was a nasty affair."
As the younger Li Na gazed at the person in front of her, she couldn't help but wonder silently, I don't want to end up like her?
"You will, if you don't act fast." the golden eyed Li Na affirmed, her voice cutting through the silence. "I can hear your thoughts, remember?"
