Ning Yu felt her face heat up. "What partner? Don't be ridiculous," she said, defensively. "We were only singing."
Li Na raised her eyebrows, "Ah ha. Sure, sure. Whatever you say."
Ning Yu walked closer to her and smacked her lightly on her arm. "Stop it, you're making fun of me," she said, half-jokingly. Then she hugged her, "I'm glad you could make it. I've missed you so much."
Li Na hugged her back and said, "Me too. If not, I wouldn't have known what your singing voice sounded like."
Ning Yu heard the chuckle in her voice and pulled away. She looked at her with a mock glare, "Stop it, I know I sounded horrible. You don't have to rub it in."
Li Na smiled, "No, no, you sounded...unique. And you know what? I'm proud of you."
Ning Yu sighed. "Please, let's talk about something else before I pass out just thinking about it."
"Alright, why don't we..." Li Na started to say, but she was interrupted by someone calling out her name.
