Ding!
"Congratulations, Host, for figuring out the way of spiritual cultivation."
"The host is rewarded with a scroll containing a full basic understanding of spiritual cultivation."
Ram heard this and smiled wider as he had just gotten what he had been looking for a long time. Since he had been using universe cultivation, he had always known that everything was being cultivated together, but he was not able to figure out how to use spiritual cultivation. At least from the information scroll, he knew he could use his spiritual cultivation to its fullest like other cultivations.
Ding!
"Host, Sorry to interrupt your thought, but I feel you should know that it's not just spiritual cultivation that you are not using to the fullest, but none of the law, body, or any cultivation is being used to the fullest. The host is advised to explore all the cultivations and reach to the extreme in each and every one."
Ram, when he heard the system, didn't take anything too personal, as he knew what the system just confirmed: he had only been in this world for a month, and he didn't have any formal training, or upbringing, of cultivation in this world, so it was expected that he was not the best and was learning step by step, and he knew what he had to do when he left the village after the mission.
Ram just thought, "I hope that spirit cultivation is not like the animation that I saw when I was a kid about a protagonist in a red cap using a yellow rat to electrocute the opponent. I am 21 years old, and it would definitely look odd for a person my age to use a rat to attack."
Ahemm…
Hanu cleared his throat while looking at Ram.
Ram came back to the present and saw both Prakhar and Hanu observing him with concern.
"Why did you zone out in the middle of the conversation, and even if you did, we would have thought that you were just thinking something, but you kept on making weird smiling expressions, and we felt chills in the back of our spines?" Ram, are you sure you are not on some kind of drug?"
Prakhar asked while looking at him, while Hanu remained silent.
Ram looked at them and said, "I was just thinking something else." and "Prakhar, you didn't show us your collection."
"I won't show anyone my collection; it's very personal, but for some price, I could show it," Prakhar said while rubbing his hand.
"No need for now; maybe some other time." Ram answered while shaking his head.
"Prakhar, there is just one last question."
"What?"
"You see, the heat marble ball that I got from the trade should be continuously emitting the heat Prana as it was supposed to, but I observed that it is being obstructed by something and the Prana circulation outside has been reduced. Maybe this is also the reason that we didn't pay attention to the marble ball the moment we came here. So my question is very simple: How did you do it?"
"Actually, there is nothing special about it; I have used the basic level of an ancient rune to suppress the fluctuation."
Hanu nodded, while Ram looked a little confused. Prakhar, noticing his reaction, clarified
"Ram, it is like this: other than spirit cultivation, I also learn ancient rune language, and seeing your expression, you still seem a little lost, so I will just say the basics: most cultivators, other than their main cultivation, also practise some kind of side profession, like alchemy, array, weapon making, rune language, and so on."
Ram nodded in understanding.
"Can we see now what the leader of the wooden village gave you?" Prakhar asked, while Hanu nodded.
"Yes, as all of you can see," Ram said while pointing to the table as he came and sat on his chair.
"This is an audio-visual crystal that the wooden leader gave me. So let's dig into the information."
Ram then picked up the crystal in his hand and nodded towards Hanu and Prakhar, who simultaneously, along with him, added their prana into the crystal, and the environment changed to an illusory room.
This room only had one table and a chair, and someone was sitting and looking straight. This was a person who was a little overweight with a pale complexion and long hair tied with a colourful thread on top of his head like a bun. He wore a lavish-looking green robe with brown embroidery on the border of his dress. This person carried the aura and temperament of the leader, but it was very clear that this person seemed to be stressed. He looked towards the surroundings and saw no one around, though Ram, Hanu, and Prakhar were still standing in front of him in illusory form.
"I know you are there, so I'll say my message: I, the leader of the wooden village, am stuck with a situation that is troubling us all. I know that I should be asking for the security help from the Village One as they are the only ones who can help us, but it is not that I am greedy and don't care for my people or afraid to handover my village's main authority to the Village One, but there is something that is forcing me not to disclose too much or ask for any kind of security help, but I can't keep on seeing as one by one my villagers shatters, so I, as a leader, beg you to help us with food and basic medicine supply. What else you help us with is up to you, but this is all we require for now."
The leader stopped speaking and then looked towards the right side of him, and through the window, he saw Hanu, Ram, and Prakhar entering the open house along with Natasha. Ram also saw himself entering the open house and understood that the message was recorded when they entered the village.
He looked towards the open house for some time, then opened the table drawer, removed a small bottle containing some kind of green pill, took the pill, and swallowed it. Soon his appearance started to change, and he changed to the appearance of a management elder, and then he looked straight and said, "I'll try to meet the people who have come from Village One and try to pass on the crystal."
He then took the crystal from the top of a table, picked it up, and brought it closer towards the centre of his eyebrow. He closed his eyes, and the audio-visual message closed.
