Especially if you are a guy.
She literally has the biggest milkers in the whole school.
Ahem.
Aside from teacher of course.
But still, despite only being a second year just like me she even tops the third years like hell.
She has a tendency to be pretty shy and awkward around everyone that's why despite having those large unfair quantity and quality in terms of boobs, she only interacts with a small group of friends.
Just like the one which was talking nonsense about DET the other day.
If she wasn't shy though, she would give the normies a run for their money.
Unfortunately, I have never seen her without glasses on so I cannot deduce just how much she looks but her facial features are rather appealing.
Well, this is awkward.
I straightened her up once again.
After she regained her balance, I finally let her go and entered inside the room of boredom.
"Watch where you are going next time. Okay."
Everything that transpired during this moment and time was recorded in Akari's eyes as she watched everything unfold in complete silence.
The shy girl just nodded and went away.
At least I should have gotten a thank you from that.
So much for being cringe.
Akari is the school librarian.
That's why in order to access the library, you would need to go through her.
That is only if you need help in searching for books.
Or maybe even a chat about the rules in here.
As for me, I would rather do a backflip and eat dirt.
No way am I associating with a stoic indifferent person like her.
She's the one who ruined my entire school life.
Of course, its natural I would never have a positive impression of her.
Never.
She continued observing me as I made way through the library. Watching me intently.
Every single step, every single moment, I felt like a prey being watched closely.
This girl is very weird.
I had the urge to just talk out loud but I refrained from doing it.
Would it kill to just stop staring daggers at me with those cold eyes?
"That's the third years' section."
Thanks for the info, gee.
Then I went to the next section which I presumed was for second years.
Yes. This has definitely got to be for second years.
"That's the first years' section."
Thanks for the info, gee.
Just how are these books arranged anyway?
Finally…
The second years' section.
"That's the novels section."
Thanks for the info, you know what, time to do a backflip.
I just started scrolling around the books like I knew what I was doing.
And…
The predator marked its prey again.
At least chill out.
Its not like I am going to breathe fire and burn this whole library down.
But the notion of it all sounds kind of cool though, hehe~.
How fun would that be?
"Where is the second years' section?"
"Over there." She replied as she never took a look off from the book she was reading.
Was she looking at me the whole time or was she reading a book?
Never mind.
This girl is the hardest to understand.
Luckily for me, I spotted my friend in there.
So this is where he goes after school.
Now it makes sense how invisible he is sometimes.
"Yoh."
He looked up to me and,
"Sakurai? What are you doing here?"
At least add more to the expression. You making Akari look like your role model.
"I came to study."
"Really? What made you change your environmental preferences all of a sudden?"
"Guess you could say I just wanted a change of view."
"Change of view. Then this place isn't for you."
"Also, I need to recover my lost grades and there is no better place I can do it other than here."
"Sounds reasonable." Then he returned back to his books.
What's with this weird library and all its stoic people?
Is it a rule I don't know?
"What are you reading?"
"Just your typical background character novel."
"What's it about?"
"Its about this guy who lived an uninteresting life and suddenly got reincarnated out of nowhere into another world full of magic, mythical creatures, gods because the gods felt pity for back luck in his life..."
"You don't need to say more."
How uninteresting.
How many cliche stories are like that anyway?
Its funny how they all portray that he was an idiot in his past life and the walla... he is an all time genius just because its another world. It doesnt make any sense. To add salt to injury, they have chicks coming flying out of nowhere all for the sake of being added in a harem.
I'm tired of those stories.
"Anyways, where is the second year's section?"
"Around you."
"Be more discrete."
"We are surrounded by them."
"You should have said so from the beginning."
Sometimes I wonder how we managed to become friends.
After I found the books I was looking for which was no easy feat by the way, I went on with the uneventful studying as more time passed by.
To be honest, I lost concentration after 45 minutes.
After that, I started reminiscing about anything that was completely unrelated to my school.
"I'm tired. I'm heading home."
"Wait for me."
And both of us left the library leaving the librarian and other second and third years in there to study in that quiet atmosphere.
Unbeknownst to me in the hallway…
'You got to be kidding me!'
A certain girl whose hair was tied into a neat ponytail wearing our school sports t-shirt and a very short skirt with a built-in short exposing the skin of her porcelain thighs along with their womanly appeal which is fortunate enough that most people went home.
Also, this certain girl was holding a racket in one hand.
Even Senki was…
Senki as always but that's not the point.
"Shouldn't you be gone already?!"
"Hey! That was not nice! Hello Senki."
"Hey."
"You still haven't explained anything yet. What are you doing here?"
"Clubs. Duh."
"This late?"
"Ever been in a club before? I don't think you realize how things work here."
"How sarcastic." I remarked.
"See you both tomorrow." Senki replied as he walked away.
"Well good luck with your clubs." I wanted to go away too as I followed after Senki.
Then she took a hold of my hand.
I'm getting a weird sense of déjà vu.
"What's the meaning of this?"
"I need help."
"Need help? With what?"
"With tennis?"
"Did something happen? What's wrong?"
"I'm looking for a partner to spar with."
Hah.
"Please tell me you are joking."
"I'm dead serious."
"Really? I'm not interested. Besides, you have other people who play tennis in your club. Why choose me?"
"Most people have already left."
"What about the ones who remained?"
"They left too."
She's hopeless.
"If everyone went home, then you should just go home too."
There's no reason to stay late alone when everybody left.
"I love tennis so much and it's difficult for me to give up on it unless I feel myself improving everyday so I can't go home yet."
Such determination.
"But I don't even play tennis."
"That's no problem at all. I'll teach you."
"Thanks but no."
"Why not?"
"There's still next time for that maybe tomorrow when you can play with your clubmates. As I said before, that's not my thing."
"Okay."
She appeared deflated as she immediately gave up on the whole issue.
At least this time she wasn't stubborn which is again out of character.
Then she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
"Sorry about that. I'll find some other way I guess."
Sayumi flashed me a smile then she turned around and began to walk away where she came from.
Since there was only me and her in the hallway lets say…
How do I put it?
She looked so lonely.
I don't know why I feel that way but she just looks…
Alone.
And it doesn't seem right with me.
Maybe its because I know the suffocating feeling altogether because I live alone.
I know how it feels all too well.
To be honest, I have been able to fun these days all because of her.
But despite all that, I have done nothing for her except push her away.
She even cooked for me and what do I decide to do.
Nothing.
I didn't even thank her for the lunch yet.
"Need I remind you, I'm not a good sparring partner though."
She froze and then turned out with a questioning gaze.
"What happened to going home?"
"Want me to go or stay?"
"Stay obviously. Why would I want you to go when I have the chance to make you stay?"
Wow. She has a way with words.
"Makes sense."
"Do you really mean it? Won't I be wasting your time?"
"It's my time and I can do anything I want with it."
"But you previously said you're not interested."
"And I'm not interested in school either." I said as I pointed to the room I just came from.
Then her gaze shifted to where I was pointing at which was the library and seemed to take the hint.
"Ohh."
Then her gaze returned back to me.
"Follow me."
"What about my bag?"
"Just follow me with it." The she spun around as she started walking again.
I sped up my pace until I was walking side by side with her and I could hear melodies through her sweet humming voice. And out of nowhere, she entangled her arm with mine as she pressed onto me.
"Now I'm seriously not going to let you go even if you beg me to. You are going to spend the night with me!"
It's the least I can do.
Right?
