Since my motherly teacher was too focused on conducting her lesson, she didn't notice a certain mischievous class rep of hers approaching close to me with her desk.
"Stop poking me." I whispered.
"Can you pick up the rubber for me, pretty please?"
"Why can't you pick it up yourself?"
"Its too far away. I can't reach it."
"…"
"It was completely by accident, I swear."
"…"
"I won't bother you anymore, I promise."
"Deal."
'Well, that was easy.'
I reached out my hand to pick up the rubber which was right behind my chair. But wait, something is not right. I can feel it but I just can't figure out what it is.
Since one of Sayumi's legs was still poking me, it just meant that her leg was still raised making me catch a glimpse of her attractive pure white panties.
For a second. No, make that two. Three. Four. Five???
Doesn't matter.
I was mesmerized by this perfect view. So beautiful. So alluring. So appealing. It just seemed to be drawing me closer like an enchantress.
Wow!
And as a result, I could feel my sinful little partner starting to throb. I almost forgot the rubber but then, as much as I hate to admit it, I had to control myself.
So I picked up the rubber, albeit my eyesight still focused on my lucky lecher charm for the day, making me miss the rubber on the first try.
I had to look at the rubber again for me to pinpoint its exact location, making me miss that view for just a bit, and when I intended to look back, it was already obstructed by a pair of hands.
Oh-oh! She caught me!
So I decided to play it dumb as I returned her rubber back, but her face was so red to the point I questioned myself if I was the one who caused it.
"Here."
She snatched it back.
"P-pervert!" she said with quivering lips. And what's with that cute expression, you'll give me a heart attack.
I know I shouldn't do this but…
"Your panties are cute. I loved the intricate designs. Thank you for the sight. I really enjoyed it. I just hope you wear more like those in the future."
If I said she was cute before, then I can safely say she got cuter a hella lot more when she hid her face from me by slamming her head on the table and covering it with her hands.
Its like her whole body was turning red.
'Is it just me or does she blush with her whole body?'
Anyways.
Yes.
Revenge success.
Finally got a one point in.
Time passed in the blink of an eye as it was already tea break, but I couldn't say the same for the person who was right behind me. Or left behind me? I forgot which direction it is?
But I knew now was the perfect time to scram while I still could. And luckily for me, before we both even knew it, she was surrounded by her many female friends.
Must be a quirk of being everyone's friend huh?
Well, gotta seize this opportunity whilst I still can.
As I was about to exit the class, I had passed through my ex's desk as it was the only fastest route I could find, but don't worry, there was no interaction as she did not even notice my presence. Or any of those cliché moments you would expect from romcoms in anime or manga.
None of us even spared a single glance at each other.
Well, that's how its always been.
I don't think I've ever had that level of dislike for a particular person. It safe to assume it hate. Even I don't hate those douches no matter how much they annoy me as much as I hate her and her former boyfriend.
People don't usually move around that much at tea break meaning that the corridors are sparsely populated during that time.
Good news for me since I don't want to meet with 'those people.'
And I didn't see them which was good enough for me.
But when every good thing occurs, it means that something bad has also occurred in tandem.
And in this case, it was Shizuki.
Pretty weird am I right? Coincidence? Cliché? Presumptuous?
Yep. That's what I want to know too.
Since I promised not to associate with her, and I do clearly remember myself making that promise, I just did just that as I passed through her the same way I passed Saki's desk.
And I'm 100% sure I saw her frown, which is concrete evidence of how much she hates me.
Just the sight of me huh!
Typical, even if I do say so myself.
Despite many days having passed, the situation was still THAT awkward between the two of us.
And if I'm being completely honest, I don't think that will change.
Even if it doesn't sound right, I think ignoring all these girls is the best solution.
That way, I can avoid my emophilia from acting up and protect myself from emotional attacks.
That's why I'm saying I don't want any trouble and I don't want unnecessary interactions.
As of now, I didn't know where I was headed. All I knew was that I needed to be far away from my class bully as much as possible. Thinking back on it, didn't this actually start just yesterday.
She's never played with me this much.
For all I could remember, it was just small talk and then it was over.
Through my little detour, the bell signaling the end of our break rang as I made my way back to the class to resume our lessons. And this time, Sayumi didn't try do anything funny. Instead, she was as meek as a mouse.
I'll research if that simile exists by the way.
During lunch, as today I didn't feel like eating my own bland homemade food thanks to a certain someone yesterday, I just decided to head to the cafeteria.
"Where do you think you're going?"
I really wish someone could erase her. I mean it.
"Cafeteria obviously." I said as I stood up.
"Really. Then lets head there together."
"I thought you made your own lunch."
"Didn't feel like it today."
LIES!
Bet you have it right now as we speak!
"Don't you have many friends. Why don't you decide to go eat with them?"
"Too monotonous. I wanted to eat with you for a change."
"So, I'm just an extra huh?"
"Maybe you are. Maybe you're not." She smiled at me.
Its better if I don't think too much about this.
"Sure."
As we were about to exit the class, just like yesterday, today I felt it again. The animosity. I know I decided not to care about other people but I could not help but sweat buckets a little.
I have to learn not to attract attention too much but I can't if she insists on accompanying me.
As we were headed to the cafeteria, while Sayumi got greetings every two seconds, I as a mob, just faded into the background.
Despite my efforts, since the girl next to me is just that pretty, naturally I also got the attention.
'Let me speed up and walk ahead to avoid this attention. I don't want people to misunderstand. And I'm about to die from these jealous stares.'
With that slight distance made between us, she had unbelievably noticed that and here I thought she was distracted by other people which resulted in her grasping my hand and pulling me back.
Awawa?
I turned to look at her in order to find out about the meaning of this was, but she never noticed as she was still being showered with more greetings.
I expected her to let go, but she didn't.
So in general, we were holding hands.
And this was having a very negative impact on my body as her hands were so soft. Just this mere action was enough to get my heart racing.
Sigh! Got to fix that.
Yeah pathetic, am I right.
At least let me enjoy a girl's warmth for once in a while.
I've gone through too much.
Since she was still being showered with admirers, it was the perfect chance for me to get rid of her, but when I tried, she increased her grip making her grasp tighter on my hand.
Ok understand me on this one, I'm not yet an adult. I'm still growing.
As it was useless to escape from her grasp, I relented as we reached the cafeteria whilst we were still holding hands.
And I got to say, we were definitely attracting a lot of attention as I could've sworn I'd have died over a hundred times.
We were like a new couple, except we weren't. I wish we were though.
Wait, what?
No, I have to stop this.
"Could you let me go now. We've already reached our destination."
And its also because the whole cafeteria is staring daggers not at us, but at ME!
