I was twirling and skipping as I made my way into the market searching for a shop in which I could send a message to Cassie.
Oh! How I miss her, I would have shown her my new trousers.
We would talk about one day wearing them when we were alone.
It is not like no woman is allowed to wear them. Just the royal ladies.
It is frowned upon if a lady of higher ranking is wearing anything that basic.
After sending a message to Cassie I can go to my room and rest. I have been out since morning, it is evening right now, in a few hours night would claim the sky.
I saw a big store, "The Enchanted Emporium" a sign hung above the store.
A fat looking man was outside of the store shouting at the incoming people, "everything is available in the enchanted emporium, books, weapons, quills, enchanted items. You can even send a message to your loved ones across the country."
I decided to go in, as I pushed open the heavy wooden door, a wave of enchantment washed over me as I stepped inside. It was heavily guarded by the enchantments. I have never seen any stores that needed enchantments to keep them safe. What is inside?
My eyes widened in awe at the sight that unfolded before me. The vastness of the magical shop enveloped me. The air was thick with the scent of mystical herbs and enchanting potions, filling my senses with a heady mix of wonder and excitement.
The shop stretched before me, its shelves reaching towards the high ceiling, lined with an array of spell books, and curious objects. Glittering crystals hung from the ceiling, casting shimmering beams of light that danced across the room.
The air was thick with the scent of ancient books, dried herbs, and mysterious potions. Shelves upon shelves lined the walls, displaying a mesmerizing array of magical artifacts, sparkling crystals, and enchanted trinkets.
The shop seemed to stretch endlessly, with hidden corners and alcoves holding countless wonders waiting to be discovered. I could hardly contain my excitement wanting to explore the store.
I refrained and went to the counter first.
There was a timid looking boy standing behind the counter. He seemed out of place amidst the grandeur and mystique that filled the shop. His shoulders hunched, and his gaze remained lowered, as if trying to avoid drawing attention to himself.
"What do you need?" he asked, I could barely hear his voice.
"i want to send a message." I said, I wanted to know, what are the limits. Like how far can you send the message.
"We send messages across, kysoria." he said, his wide eyes lowering as soon as he finished talking.
"What about outside of kysoria?" I asked, to which he stared at me in question.
"i mean like solaria, telmaran. And Aradia?"
As soon as he heard Aradia, his eyes widened,
"i meant near Aradia." I corrected.
"it is banned to send messages even near Aradia." he said. "is there anything I can help you with?" he asked, shaking my head I went to explore the store.
How will I alert Cassie that I am fine? I will have to find a way.
