The world is full of mystery. I've heard that all my life and it seems to be true. But if I go through something mysterious myself, will I be believed? Maybe I'll think I'm crazy, or everything that happens to me in my everyday life is just something I'm dreaming and soon I'll wake up. Questions without answers..."
These were the thoughts of our main character who, to everyone's surprise, was a priest, a servant of God. Or at least it seems so, because the things he goes through make me believe that he hasn't felt the feeling of faith or anything similar in his life for a long time. But still, something has taken its place... What could it be?
Lust? The ideals of climbing as high as possible in the social and ecclesiastical sphere? Hmm, it's hard to say what it could be. If you expect a story about a young priest progressing on the path to perfection until he reaches maximum perfection, you're not completely deceived. But let's not forget that this is not a novel like any other, but a BL novel, which, as you know, has nothing sacred in it. Perhaps only the characters will seem a bit "holy", of course, only superficially, if we can say so.
The story of the novel begins with a 23 years old priest named Antonio who has become a saint in the eyes of his followers. He delivers wonderful sermons, sing with a holy devotion, and conducts solemn liturgies attended by thousands of believers. Well, Father Antonio is not exactly the most handsome of all the priests we would want to lead our souls to salvation, but he has something that makes him surrounded by people who love and listen to him. Although he is only 1.70 m tall and weighs around 70 kg (you can tell he have good health by the way he eats), people still want to listen to him and be by his side. That's what a good priest looks like, right?
Everything changes after he returns from a pilgrimage to a miraculous statue of the Holy Virgin Mary, when he becomes the victim of a plane accident in which, with no hope left, he prays alongside the other passengers, gives his final blessing, and then... And then what?
Nothing is the absence of something, right? But it's not quite nothing that's happening to our priest. He wakes up on a bench. Where exactly? Right in the heart of the most important square in the world, in Rome, caput mundi, as the Latins used to say. What is he doing there? He remembered the airplane accident, but he also had other memories. How did he get here, what year is it? He was at the Vatican, but still... Is it the year 1492?!
All of these and many more are detailed in the novel 'When You Transmigrate to Other Times', which I hope you will enjoy and follow in its entirety. I warn you, do not let your children read it, or if you do, it is at your own risk!
