"Guildmaster Dorian! Good news!"
"Speak."
"Alpha team has discovered a new dungeon by Misthaven Lake, and there was a Mythic sword in it!"
Dorian flew out of his chair, his familiar falling out of his lap and papers flying off his desk.
"That's amazing! What are its options?"
"Well, we're unsure. None of us meet the class requirements to pick it up?"
"That's no big deal, my class meets most all sword requirements. And even if I don't, this is still the first Mythic item I've heard of. If I don't meet the requirements, we'll go through the city and find someone who does."
"What an excellent idea. I've posted some of our highest members to guard the entrance."
". . . No, call them back. If the other major guilds see our best members guarding a cave, they might raid it, knowing something valuable is inside. Treat it as normal until I say otherwise. If there's a Mythic Sword, chances are there's other stuff we haven't discovered. But still post rangers nearby. Kill anyone who gets close."
"Of course, sir."
. . .
[Msg: I don't know about you, but I can't see much information about stuff at all. I get pop-ups when I take or complete quests, upgrade Skills or hold items in stores. It's really about it.]
[Msg: Thank you]
[Msg: No problem. I was starting to think you forgot about me or died.]
[Msg: Not dead]
[Msg: Hard to tell]
Sirus laughed at the last message. It wasn't really intended that way, but he really did look dead. He had only bought one new shirt since arriving, given he cut up the first one, and by this time, it was torn to shreds and covered in blood. He would wash it at the Inn, but it had been a while since then. He reduced the power of Fireball, and held the flame to his cuts, in a somewhat successful attempt to cauterize them.
So to sum it up, his clothes were bloody and torn, his body was severely injured and sweaty, and he smelled of burnt flesh. Despite his condition, Sirus stood in the entrance to a cave, using a rock like chalk to write on the walls.
- Player information is absolutely private according to the commissioner.
- I can identify players hidden information, and most other hidden information, as long as it pertains to information I'm already given
- In order to take utmost use of this, I need subordinates, or a guild

'I've been stupid. On Earth, I hated using crutches or cheats because I felt that it would lessen my accomplishments, that my bragging would be less valuable if it was just me alone. But here, I'm weak, and nearly always dying. People have been here for months, so compared to me, that's a cheat. I need to take more advantage of my cheat in order to catch up. If I don't, I'll probably end up dead. Or be forced to act carefully and rationally.'
'So, let's get started along those lines. From what I saw on my way here, there are bounties players receive for herb and plant collection. Therefore, there are plants that are valuable, something which I can identify.'
Sirus walked around the forest, looking at any strange looking plant, trying to identify any as rare or special. From what he saw on my way here, there are bounties players receive for herb and plant collection. So, he decided to use his appraisal to find the most valuable plants to get more money.
! Plant: Moss - Grade F

Disappointed by the poor selection, Sirus decided to change locations, and returned back to the cave. He never really explored inside, only using the wall for a chalkboard.
The cave was poorly lit, with small bugs and moses illuminating the walls.
! Plant: Glowing Grass - Grade: E
He continued, hearing drips of water fall from the ceiling, and climbing over stalagmites.
! Entered Necromancer's Abandoned Moonlit cave
'Huh? This isn't moonlit; there's barely any light at all. I don't think anyone lives here, much less a Necromancer.'
Sirus continued to stumble around the cave, eventually finding a large wooden door, which he opened. Inside was a large, circular cavern without a roof, and exposed to the sunlight. The center seemed to be a platform for sacrifices, given the skeleton on top, and the other side was another door.
Sirus walked down the stairs to the platform, and inspected the area. A black tar-like substance stuck to the rocks and plants grew in between the cracks.
! Plant: Bloodroot - Grade: C
! Plant: Shadowmoss - Grade: B
! Plant: Black Lotus - Grade: C
! Plant: Moonbloom - Grade: B]
'Finally something valuable. Probably. I don't actually know what these are. Plus they might question why I have a bunch of death souding stuff.'
…
'I guess there isn't an answer for everything.
As much as people seem to think it's bad, I really need to be greedier. It seems this problem was born of my lack of want for information.'
Sirus plucked the plants and scraped the moss into his inventory, but couldn't get the weird feeling out of his mind. It was one thing to have your thoughts read, but having a foreign voice appear was disconcerting. He made sure that he still affirmed in his mind that he wanted it, as it was nice not to have to read everything, but still didn't like it.
He walked up the opposite set of stairs to open the other door, but was surprised at the contents. It seemed to have been a living space for around 3 people, but was ransacked, and nothing valuable seemed to remain. The only thing not broken seemed to be a note stuck to the wall by a knife.
"ᛏᚺᛁᛊ ᛚᛟᚲᚨᛏᛟᚾ ᚺᚨᛊ ᛒᛖᛖᚾ ᛞᛁᛊᚲᛟᚢᛖᚱᛖᛞ ᛒᛁ ᚦᛖ ᛏᛖᛗᛈᛚᛖ ᚲᚾᛁᚷᚺᛏᛊ. ᛗᛟᚢᛖ ᛏᛟ ᚦᛖ ᛞᚢᛜᛖᛟᚾ ᚢᚾᛞᛖᚱ ᚦᛖ ᚹᛖᛊᛏᛖᚱᚾ ᚺᛖᛗᛚᛟᚲᚲ ᛏᚹᛟ ᛗᛁᛚᛖᛊ ᛞᚢᛖ ᛖᛊᛏ."
!Quest Item: Written in Elder Furthark. Translates to "This location has been discovered by the Temple Knights. Move to the dungeon under the Western Hemlock two miles due East."
'Seems I'm going East.'
Sirus starting walking away before stopping, and thinking for a second.
Sirus paused, but there was no response, unsurprisingly, so he left the cave, taking about the same amount of stumbling and tripping to get out as getting in.
When he made it out, he looked up at the sky, seeing the sun just starting to rise, but then realized something bad.
'I have no idea if I'm in the equivalent of the northern or southern hemisphere of this world. East could be in two opposite directions. I really hope it's the same as on earth.
'I am curious about what sort of thing this is. Like is there some resident or quest that tasks you with searching the Necromancer cave? It says quest item for a reason, and that translated description sounds like it's straight out of a video game. And given the fact it's multiple locations and how annoying that note looked to translate, it should be a decent reward.'
Sirus arrived at a large tree that looked like the other Western Hemlocks he had seen, but this one seemed more prominent, with less trees nearby. He didn't see anything immediately, after fiddling with the brush, he noticed something odd. A bunch of leaves were sown together to make a sort of blanket, which covered a trapdoor.
