Chapter 481 - 40. Here Without You.

I put things in order in the house. I carried my bags inside and made sure that I had everything I needed to my enjoyment to be ready too. I started to get ready. This was going to be exactly the plan I had planned. Or at least I hoped it would go.

I thought in my mind that I was chaos, the chaos that plans. I wonder if this gig will go my way when I'm the chaos and the one making the plan. Well, that remains to be seen. I'd book all the supplies, the medicine. Tools of the trade. Surgical equipment.

My shed was not so big. This was one old cottage that I had bought quite cheaply and I would use this like this kind of operation. I just had to learn from the best, and that would be Damon. If he had his little places where to torture and kill, could use these as interrogations and some torturing too. The floors were plain, wooden floors and walls were painted grey, and there were wooden panels on the walls too. Windows were old, small, and drafty and this was not a place to live, not for me at least.

This just was a little place that I would use for my not-so-neat operations that would sometimes come my way. Like getting even with those three vampires or some demons, witches even. One guy that I could deal with was Wulfe's brother Horatio here, too. I had so many enemies that needed a little rougher treatment, and this was a place for those treatments. Me to give them and they to receive them. I might sometimes ask Damon to play with me, too. Charles and Adam, I was not sure because they killed straight up, not tortured so much. I could do both, torture when given the opportunity and also kill mercilessly and fast.

It had this bigger living space, a little kitchenette, and one bedroom. On one side of this sizeable space, I had a surgical chair installed and bolted strongly into the floor. There was a sofa too. I had a few movable tables. One bigger one was where I had a few steel boxes full of my instruments. I would do this as sterile as possible, so I had a sterilization machine too and I would sterilize my tools just before the operation.

On another side of this sizeable space, I had three silver platinum smaller cages, a few tables, and a lot of different tools for torturing, I had spiked cuffs, which would suck the blood out of the victims, or then I could use them to infuse something into them. Drip racks were also ready and medical monitors, gas anesthesia machines, and a few tanks of anesthesia gases were also used. If I needed to keep some of my victims longer out cold.

In a little bedroom. I had my sterile gowns ready, and my supplies, too. There was no bed but shelves lined with supplies and medical paraphernalia. One shelf was full of scrubs and gowns, ready for other operations, too.

I had knives, blades, and few or not so few bags of metals, drugs, and a few boxes of those symptom potions. These would not cause a disease. Just symptoms, like headache, or backache, whatever. I would envision in my mind giving Angelus a lot of testicular pain or making Drusilla feel hellish birthing pains. For Spike, well, there are so many places in the body that can feel pain.

But work comes first and Sark was our biggest enemy. I would not get anyone involved in this because this was not morally right, not even individuals as Sark and I protected others, too. Damon would have been perfect, but he wants to kill eventually, and it is not my goal.

Adam or Charles, well, they might have the same idea: kill first and ask questions later. I myself, controlled myself in that amount that I could do this. Maybe all the soulless killing and ripping that I have to do in fight clubs, Is enough to keep my wits, so I had a sense of keeping my killer instinct at bay.

My intention was to catch, to put Sark in a state where he would never do anything again. Easy enough to do a little brain surgery that causes brain damage. And then watch and observe. Let him heal. Give him permanent memory loss and personality loss. Intelligence loss.

Then. Then he's an idiot for the rest of his life in an institution. This flea I knew had many such institutions. That's where you can abandon just such an idiot. And if I had to, I'd do a little cosmetic surgery, and no one would even recognize Sark.

After That, I would be ready for my main prize. All I had to do was make an appearance, talk, and badmouth those three, enough to get them to come after me, and this time, I would be so damn ready for this. Once I got my trio in my custody, I would enjoy myself and maybe experience something that Damon does, too.

My vampire side really wanted to do this and strangely enough, she did not see any of them worthy as meals but victims. And once we would have time to play with them, she would be happy to share them with a husband. Meaning, let Damon has fun with them, too.

Damon drove up to the house and pondered Mimi's plan, which had its merits and more. But what if Mimi was careless again and got caught or hurt? There could be any number of possible complications in this plan. He tried to think of all the possibilities in his mind as he was still in the car.

What he did not realize was once again, Damien was doing his little manipulation, driving him away from her, reminding him that he wanted to kill, even he could have controlled himself, to be Mimi's backup, but this evil twin in his mind had way too much power and it was influencing on his decision making very strongly. Now, he had left her to make the plan herself so that it would be his responsibility, too.

Damien had made him drive to Bran. He knew Bran would help him to come to the surface, and he was pretty sure that Mimi's little plan would not work, not without backup, and he was going to make sure that she would not get any backup. He manipulated Damon to trust Bran, to talk to him, instead of calling Charles, who was the pack leader. Because Charles would come in and go to Mimi, to be her backup. And Adam too.

But If he can involve Bran in this, he will take the lead in this and then it is time, once Mimi's little plan fails, for him to get to give her a long and painful lesson of humility, this time, not breeding. So he whispered in Damon's mind, making him trust Bran.

Damon decided to ask Bran what he thought about it. Since Bran was in this house. Maybe Bran would order him to help her or then he would not care at all. Damon thought for a second about calling Charles, but he asked Bran first. He went to Bran's office door and knocked.

Bran said, "Come in, Damon."

Bran had noticed Damon's troubled expression as he drove into the yard, sensing it through their packbonds. His office, illuminated by both artificial and natural light, was cozy and not overly spacious. The sunlight streamed in through the windows, despite the presence of a light screen.

Bran's substantial desk was meticulously organized, with only his laptop, computer screen, phone, and a few papers and pens adorning its surface. To his right, a massive bookcase stood, filled with thick folders. Adjacent to the window, a vintage printer sat on a low table. Several worn-out chairs were arranged in front of the desk.

Damon entered the office, took a seat, and began sharing Mimi's plan concerning Mr. Sark. He said, "Mimi's plan for Sark has its merits. It is simple per se, but then again. She intended to capture him and perform brain surgery, keeping him trapped in that body not able to revive in healthy body. This magic did not require Sark to be in good health, so rendering him an idiot seemed like a viable solution."

Bran nodded. Damon continued to his explanations. However, when Damon expressed concerns about Mimi's lack of backup and the possibility of Sark having an entourage who could apprehend her. Bran was getting worried. Damon told him more as he also pondered the potential risks if someone discovered Sark's true identity in the institution and attempted to kill him, resulting in the birth of a more knowledgeable successor. Damon had initially left Mimi to develop her plan, but now questioned whether he should trust her if it failed.

Bran remained silent for a moment, contemplating the situation, before responding, "Interesting plan. It has its merits, but also its dangers."

He suggested the simplest option. "Now the easiest thing would be to inform Adam and Charles about the plan. Charles, being highly protective of Mimi, could help keep her in check during her pursuit of Sark. Another alternative would be to let Mimi proceed while having Adam, Charles and you serve as a backup plan in case of any mishaps. "

As Bran considered his options, he noticed a subtle change in Damon's demeanor, sensing the presence of Damien. The smell of wet dogs permeated the closed space of the office and the emotionless expression on this vampire's face was something that Bran was satisfied to see. Bran welcomed this development, as it aligned with his desire to hurt and humiliate Mimi. It was time, little bitch, to learn some humility.

Damien said softly, "Let's do it this way: invite Adam and Charles over and then let the lady do her thing. Maybe we're all wrong and the lady will succeed, but if we're right, I think it would be good if Adam and Charles were up to date so that when the time comes for a lesson of humility, the whole pack is on the same page. "

Bran was pleased. Just the way he wanted it. Damien would be the right guy to teach that damn little bitch once and for all. The atmosphere in his office had just gotten from a worried husband asking for help for his wife, to two very dangerous creatures planning straight-up torture.

What Bran did not know, was that Damien had planned this to be a lesson for him too. The lesson of humility. He wanted to have fun with Mimi and this time it would be up to Bran to try to help her when he had processed her enough. Though he appreciates Bran gave him all of these chances to torture Mimi, something in Bran's uppity attitude made him give him an excellent lesson, too.

Damien did not realize that he actually had felt some of Damon's feelings for Mimi, protection of sorts, but it went as haywire as it could, and then the need to punish Bran had been born too. Damien got flashes from Bran's mind of him raping Mimi on that rack and it fueled him even more to give this lesson to that goddamn rapist. But first, one little trap for Mimi and this fun could start. He had made his plan already, and it was time to execute it.

Bran did not notice anything in Damien's expression. He was just thinking about his plan to get Mimi Charles and Adam a little less in love. He nodded and said, "I'll call Adam and Charles when they arrive from the gig in a few hours. "

Damon walked into the living room to wait. On the one hand, part of him hoped Mimi would make it; on the other, Damien knew she wouldn't. He had few ideas about what could go wrong and he was not gonna tell them to Mimi. just a few pointers, but no. He kept his mouth shut as he had found out one thing in Sark while he had tortured it.
