Chapter 462 - 21. From This Moment On.

As I am writing this, there is no denying it. I actually still love Damon, no matter how much I try to convince myself; otherwise, one day, I just know that our epic love, well, is at least unique, one of a kind. Even though there are others in our lives now, and we are not just each other anymore, there is a connection between us. There is no denying it. We are through thick and thin. We have faced challenges in our relationship that Mariella, Damon's true soul mate, can only dream of. For her it has been easy to love Damon, there has no doubt, no second guesses, not a damn thing, but for me, this is a rollercoaster of love and lust, passion too.

What that connection is or what it means remains to be seen. The fact is that there is and always will be that connection. And no one or nothing can ever break it, no matter how hard we try. We have been almost wielded together by our challenges, by our history, and it is one thing that Mariella can never take away from me. There are ten Damon's. Number one is the first version and others are their versions of him. I have this connection, our history with each of them, something that will be truly ours always and forever. There is nothing for Mariella to do about it. One of them is my Damon, not the core, but his emotional side, and he is mine. But number one, being jealous, well, he tries to make sure that I will never get rid of him.

Samuel came to the door at one point, and we started to walk downstairs as the music played. I was clad and blood red and black, the power colors of Vampires, and once again there was a very big part of vampires in our wedding. I knew that there would be a lot of skanks called here again and he might dispatch some of them or then not. It depends on Lord's mood. Samuel complimented me when he helped me to move. He was perfectly normal when he would have noticed nothing wrong with me. We went down the stairs again, and then I joined the men.

Our wedding was now in Kansas Castle, the same one that I and Charles put up once, but I noticed very much changes done in this place and I had gotten also a notification in my email that this is now mine and Damon's mutual asset, he bought kind of part of this castle or somehow made Charles put him part owner of this. He had also made a few other arrangements, like measures that prevented me from having that kind of revoking order of his medical rights in me ever again.

I had no idea what my life would be, like with three husbands and one of them was an extremely jealous, old strong creature. Adam, well, I knew part of his past and I guessed Damon knew nothing. Adam was born in the 17th century. His life, well, what he had told me, had been quite a ride.

When Samuel brought me to men, Damon took me next to him. Adam and Charles were on the other side of him and he took hold of me. His silky soft voice in the recesses of my mind said, "Well, darlin, we have the whole day. So we have time, and I expect you to tell me everything about Hauptman's past that you know of. I mean everything."

Damon was all over me for some reason, and I felt a needle go into my lungs before the priest could say a word. A real flank wedding. I could feel him almost burrowing into my mind. He knew I had information that had not and that was a challenge for him.

The ceremony was interesting in that Adam and Charles were only asked the question and I was asked the same question about the two of them. I just had to say I do, but Salvatore, as we always have to declare our feelings in public. He almost made some sort of promise to his wedding wows and they were something that he took seriously.

Damon began, "Mimi, again I made a mistake, and you, my light, my life, my joy, took me back, and I'm going to show you now that you really won't regret it. You chose me and our love in your time. Let me choose the same today. I choose you and our love, which is eternal. I promise you, darling, I will never leave you when you can't stand it. I promise to be with you as long as you take care of me. I promise to take care of you, nurture you, guide you, educate you, and love you always and forever. I will keep you mine. I will let you feel we are still. We are, never doubt that, darlin."

Then it was my turn to say, "Damon, I love you, always and forever. Even if you divorce me one divorce after another, I will not leave you. I will not abandon you. Because our love is epic, it is the strongest force in the universe. No matter who will come between us, I will lean on you if you let me. I will seek safety in your embrace if you offer me that. I will give my love to you if you want it. Our love is eternal, and it is always and forever, as I am yours always and forever. I promise to be yours as long as you want me, need me, love me. If there is ever a doubt in your life, don't doubt my love for you. "

Then the priest pronounced us husband and wife, and I kissed the three of them all. Damon kissed me last and gave me a flank in the process. It was a truly intoxicating kiss. We then went for a flank walk, and Adam and Charles were relaxed and went off to chat with the men and other guests. I staggered, more or less. He kept me in his grip and no one suspected a thing.

Damon said, " It pays to be strong and an old vampire so you can get little vampires like that to obey so easily, and then there's a little something in that drink that keeps them happy and content all day even if they don't spend a minute with you, so don't be surprised at all. Oh, look, Jarod's coming over there. He must have liked to try the flank already. I could take him to the shed someday."

I offered my ribs and slightly tugged myself out of his grip so that Damon could control me. I knew it wouldn't do any good to knock Damon out now because Adam and Charles would be without the vampire as soon as he woke up. The threat wouldn't be limited to just the wedding. If I didn't behave here, then Adam and Charles would pay for it one day, and I wasn't about to break them.

So I was a nice flanker, nice and nice. Again, I had to balance not being too nice but not defying in the wrong way and for some reason, this side of Damon always raised such a rebellion in me that I actually felt like saying something really fucked up sometimes.

We were sitting on a bench, and Damon said to me, "One day, darlin, there might be a time when you doubt us, and you want to just keep Adam and Charles, try to then remember our past, our history. That we are, still. Don't lose me, ever."

He gave me a flank, a big one, so I was almost out cold. I had no idea what were these little predictions almost that he told me from time to time. After I started to come around a little more, he asked, "Well. Tell me, about Adam's past. He has not told me a word or Bran had even mentioned anything either."

I was silent and then in my mind I said," Well. Adam was born in somewhere Austria, on the German border, or something like that, and his family was the richest around. Adam was the firstborn, oldest child, and proud of his father. His father beat his mother, and it was nothing weird at that time. He had siblings too, but he was the one who got it all. From early on, Adam was taught that he should take what he wanted and everyone would give to him. He was the most wanted bachelor in a wide area at that time, almost a prince but he was vain, and he wanted to choose who to take, so his family traveled a lot and they went village from town and Adam saw a lot of girls. But no one that offered themselves to him was not up to his standards. Then one girl hit him. She was engaged to a village blacksmith's son. They were actually in love."

Damon grunted and said in my mind, "Hard to see Adam as that. So hard, but I know you are not lying."

I continued in my mind, " At that time, Bran had gotten himself in order and he had started to help old werewolves. He had an entourage, Asil, and 14 other very old and quite insane wolves with him. Bran saw himself crazy killer, and this was his twisted way of trying to make things right. They had been in that village where Adam's family came a fortnight already and Bran had gotten a few wolves a little better behaved, but a full moon was coming. Adam wanted to brag about how good he was, and that he was a hunter. He hunted what he wanted, where he wanted and so he challenged this blacksmith's son to hunt with him, in full moon and Adam wanted to impress that girl, accidents could happen in the forest, and never know what critters there are, the boy went along. "

Damon looked at me now, clearly astonished. He said, "How did you get Adam to tell this?"

I was silent. Adam would not remember it, and neither would probably Damon, as it had been Damien.

I just said," Pillow talk, I am a curious creature."

Damon said to me, "You are lying through your teeth, but continue. The story is getting to the good part, I presume." I nodded.

I continued even though he flanked me, so my mind was quite blurry. He tried to seek how I had gotten this story, but I had protected that part of me.

" They went hunting and well. Werewolves were there too, and the blacksmith's son thought getting a wolf would be a good trophy. So he started to seek a suitable spot where he could make his kill. Adam saw this, and he saw wolves, too. There was one bigger, powerful wolf and Adam had a sword, so he charged, killed the wolf and it turned into a man. Bran had seen this. He called wolves away and this blacksmith's son tried to nail Asil, who killed that boy. Adam was happy. He had come out as the winner and even the beast had bitten him once he had killed it. It had become a man. The bite was nothing, a mere scratch, and Bran moved with wolves away to another town, as they had revealed. "

I tried to picture it in my mind, but since it was so long ago; I had no idea what it had been living in that time.

Damon said to me, "Nothing too fancy, but please, darling, story, go on."

I sighed and said. "Well, Adam had always been impatient, and since his upbringing had been more or less teaching that he would get everything and once, it made it worse. He started to woo now this girl who had just lost her fiancee and when she was not warming up to him, he got mad, he killed her sister. The baby sister was only 13 at the time. Adam had struck her, across the face, causing her to fall and break her neck. It did not make things better. As days progressed, Adam got madder. He had not yet hit that girl he was trying to woo, but he got into a fight in public and often came out the winner and a few dead were also in there. No one suspected anything. The bite had healed and there was no mark on him. Except for his rage. "

Damon frowned and said, "So he was turning slowly into a wolf, right? That temper and rage?"

I nodded and said, "In short, in a way, it took three months, three full moons, and no marking. He was just ever increasingly angry but also seductive, and he had gotten that girl to fall for him. They had had their wedding, wedding night, of course, and then the full moon came. Adam turned, he was into forest hunting at the time and Bran had come back. As he had sensed this crazed, alpha emerging, Bran helped Adam during that first transformation and they hunted. But his temper being what it was, a few days later, he smacked her, killing her too, as he did not know how strong he was. He broke her neck with a single blow. When there was the funeral, the local midwife told him she had been pregnant with their child, but she did not have time to tell him. Adam broke because as the wolf, you feel deeply. He had learned to love her. He was a killer. You know this usual shit that comes with being a werewolf? Adam was with Bran's entourage for less than a year and then he had changed, too. That is what he told me."

Damon nodded, and said, "Well. Good girl, darling, this minor story helps me to manipulate him once I understand, why he is so hellbent on saving every woman. "

He gave me a flank, and we went to walk and he took more of his alpha power out as there were several alphas too, whom to talk with.

My mouth wanted to talk a few times as he stabbed a huge amount in my liver so that it hurt quite a while. But I controlled myself. It was just the alpha side of me that noticed Damon's alpha power and decided to show it now and then. But now was not the time to show off. Now was the time to behave. We strolled around in calm, ate, cut the cake, and danced. Taking a little jelly and concentrated sedative into the abdominal cavity before dancing is good, so you can suffer dancing with Adam and Charles.

But just one dance and that was it. That's all they were looking for when they were having such a bloody good time. I was looking forward to seeing what our wedding night would be like.

As the evening wore on and it was time to go out for the wedding night, Damon took Adam and Charles to our table and got us all drinks. Adam and Charles were pretty damn drunk pretty quickly with whatever Damon had put in their drinks, and as usual, three double tequilas ensured I didn't stay up too well either.

We all went upstairs, and there was a large bedroom, but I knew this wasn't the main bedroom where we were going. Adam and Charles just about passed out in the chairs where they went to sit. I got a pretty fucking strong flank and leaned against Damon as he took off my dress.

He was directing the whole time. "Come on baby, lift your leg and the other one, good. Come and sit on it. That's a good girl. Now give me an arm, good, good darling..."

I felt him push the needle into my vein and press the plunger slowly, always looking at me. I wasn't quite out when he guided me to the bed, but I fell asleep as soon as he put the blanket on me.
