"Not so fast vampire." Its silver eyes blazed with precarious danger, as it spoke with a low growl beneath it's breath.
"Do you think I'll foolishly let you leave without sealing our deal first?" The half demon added in with a throaty wicked chuckle resounding in the cave.
Zhurong could sense an underlying implication to it and there was no doubt their situation just went from bad to worse. The cunning demon had a sly scheme up its sleeve.
"What do you mean?" Zhurong queried in impatience with creased brows.
"The moment you leave, you wouldn't care to come back and fulfill your side of the deal, so I have my way of making sure you won't think twice before retrieving the book at all cost and bringing it to me." The demon remarked in a dark tone.
