Chapter 101 - Episode 6- A Ghost from the Past: Maria Suzuki!

"Wow, you are really strong. Strong enough to create a black hole with a single attack. I'll admit…. I'm proud of how far you come by training through the textbooks."

".....What the hell kind of strength do you possess? You just shattered a black hole with a wave of your hand! Are you even human?"

"Did you forget what I told you earlier?" Sara asked, "I told you earlier that I was immortal. Measly attacks like black holes are not going to be enough to kill me. No, it's not going to be enough to even harm me."

Sara was physically strong to the point where she could destroy worlds with her fist. A black hole was something that could swallow worlds if it was used by a person who was strong, but Alice was not on the level to be able to use spells that could destroy worlds.

Alice's lavender eyes started glowing brightly, "Burn brightly, Gabriel." she cried out, causing the whole white space to violently shake. Her voice was causing the whole space to shake and rattle, sending a quake throughout the space.

After saying that, she leaped into action, with her sword glowing brightly. Gabriel was a sword that could cut through space-time, but it could also severely fate.

".....! Mhmmm, that's an interesting sword you have. The ability to cut through space-time, that sword is a pretty unique one…."

Her scythe was tightly in her grip, and she flew towards Alice, swinging her scythe that was infused with her mana.

Their weapons hit each other, but they didn't stop after one swing. Immediately after parring each other, the two started to fly through the white space. Swords were colliding, sending quakes through the entire space.

Gabriel was cracking and shattering the space, but after the space cracked it was reformed with the ability of her scythe. Sara's mana was infused into her scythe, so she could keep recreating the space because if the space was destroyed. Although the space wouldn't kill her, the same couldn't be said for her foster daughter.

Alice took a half-step back before thrusting her sword toward her foster mother's chest.

However, Sara instantly saw the strike that was aimed at her chest, but she didn't do anything.

The sword Gabriel bent the space that was around her body, the barriers that were around her body faded as if they weren't there in the first place, her skin was split open, and her chest was pierced by the blade. Blood from her body splattered.

"...Even if you say that you can't be killed because you are 'immortal' then this will prove you wrong. This sword has the ability to cut through space-time, but it also can ignore your physical body, attacking everything that's on the inside of your body. That would mean your soul too."

"Yes, that might be true…. But that would only work for a person that connects and regenerates everything that's on the inside of their bodies. My soul is something that I can regenerate even if it happens to be destroyed."

Hearing the soft voice coming from the lifeless body that was in front of her, Alice looked at the woman in shock, noticing that her blade couldn't kill her.

Grabbing the swords that were in her chest, she pulled out the sword that was crushing her heart. In the blink of an eye, the wounds that were inflicted on her were healed.

"I should at least show you what kind of spelling I can use. I have been using my physical strength the whole time we have been fighting."

"....." Alice's face twitched, "What are you going to do to me? What kind of strong attack are you going to show this daughter of yours? After all, you are supposed to be teaching me."

An endless amount of mana filled the space. The space started to crack, and shake. Her mana was mostly filled with the ability that could create anything from nothing, but her body also possessed the ability to destroy anything she wanted to. While her destruction capability was lower than her brothers. At the moment, her creative ability is far above that of her brothers.

Her ability to create things was even higher than the gods. Some of the gods were said to be able to create worlds upon worlds, that had their own higher dimensions.

However, none of the gods ever descended to the grounds, even when the demons were threatening to take over the world. Of course, they had the hero helping them do their job, but the hero broke free from their grasp years ago, and they never came down to help the humans.

"M—, Mother…." Alice quietly called out her mother's name in fear. The space was slowly being crushed.

Hearing that, Sara stopped channeling her mana and looked at her daughter. Her pressure was about to physically crush the world. With her mana, she was going physically to put an end to the space that was the same size as the world they came from.

If she were in the world that they just came from, the stars, solar system, and galaxies were going to be destroyed along with the world that was infinite in size. No…. With the power she displayed, the pressure that she just released was going to destroy more than the human world, it was going to spread through other worlds reducing them to nothingness.

"My bad…. I forgot that you were not able to handle the pressure that was being released from my body. Well, since you hit me. What do you want me to do for you…?"

"What do you mean by asking me that? Is there something I'm supposed to ask from you?"

"I told you at the beginning of the match that I would tell you anything if you managed to hit me. Although I let your attack hit me, I'm not a person that goes back on her word, so tell me anything you want to ask me."

Looking at her foster mother, she looked down at the ground wondering what she wanted to ask her before the fight started. Gabriel started shining in her hand and completely disappeared after a couple of seconds.

After seeing her sword disappear, Alice finally remembered the question she wanted to ask her foster mother. Her expression calmed and she looked at her foster mother and asked, "How did you know that my sword name was Gabriel?"

Sara forced her eyes closed, "I knew you were going to ask that question. Well, let me start from the beginning. The sword that you are wielding is the one that a classmate of mine used to wield back in the day. If I'm correct about this, then you are her daughter."

"How would you know that….!? Even if we were using the same sword that wouldn't mean that we are related to each other."

"Oh, but it will mean exactly what I say it is," Sara continued, "Because the girl told me that her sword could only be inherited through her family's bloodline. The same sword that you are wielding now. Gabriel is the only sword in the world with that color blade. And I failed to mention that the women looked exactly like you."

"Y-Y-You know who my mother is…?"

Sara stared at her foster daughter, noticing how emotional she was getting. Nobody had ever told her any stories about her mother. In fact, this was the first time that anyone told her that they knew her mother. Although she can remember her mother dropping her off at the orphanage, Alice doesn't know what her mother's face looks like.

"Of course, I know who your mother is…."

She stopped talking for a moment looking at her excited foster daughter, "Your mother's name was Maria Suzuki. A powerful woman that went to school with us but…"

Alice continued staring at her foster mother waiting for her to finish what she was saying. But after a while of waiting, she noticed that she was going to say anything more.

"......What were you going to say…? I want to know what you were about to say about my biological mother."

Knowing that she wasn't going to let up, Sara snapped her fighters and two seats appeared in the endless white plane.

Walking towards one of the chairs, she sat down on one of the chairs. Her mind was set on telling the girl her origins since it was something that she needed to know. It was something that she couldn't continue to keep from her.

Intuitively knowing why, she summoned the chairs. Alice walked to the open chair that was in front of her foster mother.

A serious expression covered Sara's face and she opened her mouth to say, "Your mother was in love with a demon. Thus, she left to be with the demon in question. It wasn't a normal demon. The demon that she fell in love with was the demon king."

"H-H-Huh? A demon? My mother was in love with a demon?! Wait if she left the school to be with a demon then that would mean…"

Alice paused to sort out her thoughts. She couldn't grasp the fact that her mother was in love with the demon. Around the time she was born. Her mother was twenty years old when she had her baby, Alice.

"That would mean, that the Demon King is your father. The person that your mother left the academy with…. And could possibly be the person that killed your mother."

Alice's mouth widened in shock, "Th–There… I-is no way my father killed my mother. If they were together and in love that would mean that he had some sort of feelings for her."
