Since the two of them left earlier that day than everyone else, they had no time to hear about anything that was happening. But it was to be expected that they would lower the duel count to one per day. The reason was because ordinary people couldn't follow along with multiple fights at one time as a mage could.
But the two quickly grasped the information they had just received. They were not protector shocked about the information they were just shocked they would have to spend more time waiting for the duels to be complete and reach the finals. But they would be doing ten battles a day like they still did, and they only wanted to watch the people of the TAA class fight.
None of the students had a problem with how they adjusted to the fights because it was for the best. With all the battles going on they wouldn't have been able to get information about how the other contenders fought. And they could give a good show to the people watching them.
"Well, this is going to be interesting. Who is battling today?" he looked over at the girl so he could get a clear answer from her. She was the only person near them that had any kind of knowledge of what was going on today.
Lucia looked over at Shito and smiled. "They did over thirty battles yesterday. So, the people who are fighting today are going to be unexpected. You might want to be ready to hear your team's call because you might be up next."
Over thirty battles were fought yesterday. None of the normal people saw anything because of how many battles were going on at one time. Many people fought yesterday and many of the other teams got eliminated in the battles.
So, the days that he calculated were shortened dramatically so there was no way to tell how many fights would really be fought today. The only thing that they could do was wait to see who was going to be fighting today.
Of course, they wanted to fight in some of the battles today so they could go out and spend some time with their daughters. After all, they went to bed too early yesterday because of how Tenka passed out from receiving the power from the void. Since she went straight to bed Shito decided that it would be best to wait until the next day before they decide to do something. Not having Tenka there would not count as a 'family' trip.
The power from Shito was different from the power from the void. Tenka would not die as long as she had the power of Shito inside of her body. That was because Shito had created something in the Realm of the Void, and it did not allow the death of any of the people with the same power as it. And even if some did negate it, they would be reincarnated with their memories intact.
"Damn, that's a lot of people. I guess we are going to have to fight in battles today, and here I thought we were going to be able to spend time together but instead of fighting in battles today." Shito looked over at Tenka and smiled. "Even though it's not guaranteed that we will be fighting, we still are going to have to prepare for it."
Tenka looked at Shito and smiled. "We are going to have to do that some other ti–"
She was suddenly interrupted by the sounds of people flooding into the arena. They were sitting on the side that the students in the academy were supposed to sit at. There were students walking towards them about to take some of the open seats so they could watch the battles.
The arena was built big so around a couple hundred thousand people were able to fit in the stadium. Tens of thousands of people had already started taking their seats. The battles were about to come to a start, and everyone was quietly waiting for the announcer to come on the stage and announce the fighters for the day.
***
"Hello everyone! We will be starting this battle now, so let's get these battles started!" The announcer suddenly appeared in the center of the stage. He was a mage too so he could move himself quickly so he could get out of the arena fast enough, so he wouldn't be in the way. "Teams Noedale and Team Frontier come to the stage and prepare for your fights!"
Lucia got up and walked down to the stage, she was on the team frontier, so her battles were about to start. Her partner was another student from the TAA program. The boy she was fighting with was a boy who had bluish-silver hair that was short and messy. The boy looked like he was sleepy, and his golden eyes shined brightly. The boy, Rito, and he were ready to get the fight over with.
In Front of the stage, stood two groups of people, one was the Frontier team that consisted of Rito and Lucia Komeiji. The other team was Noedale and the team consisted of students that were from the same class as the two they were fighting.
One of the students was Lilith Leoinbell and she was a girl with long violet-purple hair, her eyes were a beautiful crimson red, a shade of red that was different from the standard crimson shade of red. She had a profoundly serious expression on her face, and it stemmed from the fact that she wanted to get the battles over with. Even though she was going to lose this battle she was still going to fight because she knew how much it meant to Lucia to be able to fight with people.
The other student was Bell Torasaka, he was a student that had above-average physics. He had the face of a pretty boy, and his hair was lavender purple, and his eyes were green. A nervous expression was covering his face because of him having to fight the strongest student in their class.
Lilith looked at her partner with a serious expression. "Come on, Torasaka. I don't want you to be a liability in this battle because we need to try our best to win this battle."
She wanted her partner to get his mess together, they were about to fight the strongest student in their class. The least they could do was give her a good fight because Lilith knew from the look on Lucia's face in class that she was bored with her life at the academy.
"Ok. I will not be a liability in this battle!"
The two teams stood in front of each other, and they smiled. All of them were showing respect to each other; after all, they were from the same class, so it was natural to show goodwill to your classmates.
Everyone in the TAA class was close to each other. It was like a class that treated each other as family. Not everyone was close to each other, but Lilith and Lucia were close to each other, they were like sisters.
The announcer looked at the groups of students and smiled. "Are you all ready to start this battle?" he asked. The announcer was ready to watch the best class of students start fighting in their battles today. The TAA program had the most talented students in it from each grade.
The two teams nodded their heads. "We are ready to start these battles!" the teams shouted in unison. They were ready to start these battles and show each other how much they grew with the training they were doing.
The whole TAA class was on a training break. So, they had about a month of breaks from any kind of training with their classes. Most of the students didn't see each other for the whole month so they didn't see how strong their friends became.
Everyone in the TAA class had one goal and that was to get the approval of Lucia, the strongest person in their class. Also, the strongest person in the school. All of them saw her as an inspiration to better themselves and grow stronger.
The announcer raised his hand in the air and quickly swiped his hands downward.
"Let the battle begin!" The announcer quickly disappeared from the area. His speed was so fast that he surpassed the speed of light.
Lilith smiled looking at her friend. "It's been a while… Lucia." She was glad to see her friend again after all, it's been a month since they have seen each other.
"Yes, it has been a while!" Lucia nodded her head. "Even though we are friends, don't expect me to hold back against you!"
"Don't worry. I do not want you to hold back because I have some new techniques to show you."
"Well, I look forward to this Battle we are going to be fighting in. Please give it your all!"
And with those words, the battle had begun between the two teams. A battle that would be a legendary one. Two teams from the top rank class were bound to make the battle an interesting one.
