Jay lost his patience while his friends were having their meals in the cafe. He just wanted to visit her house no matter what. He could no longer wait.
He lost his patience, "Guys please hurry. Just finish up fast. We need to visit her place. Why are you all eating like a lazy person? You guys will not die if you won't eat one day."
Mark tried to calm him down, "Dude relax! I am sure she is perfectly fine. Why are you getting worked up? Just keep calm, soon we will visit her place."
"Yeah right, if you had a girl you would know how I am feeling at the moment. I don't care whether you guys eat or not. I had enough. I am leaving, you can meet me after sometime," Jay got anxious.
"Hey, you know what we all are finished anyways. It's not like we don't care about her. Don't worry Jay, let's visit her place first, shall we guys?" Naomi asked everyone.
Al agreed with Naomi and they stood up as soon as Naomi requested everyone. Jay's friends knew if they didn't go then he would definitely lose his temper and it would be difficult to handle him afterwards as he had some serious anger issues. They just wanted him to calm down.
Jay never really gets angry but once in a blue moon he is super pissed off and that is the most hard time he has along with his friend's face.
Jay drove his car quite fast and soon all of them reached her house. Jay went outside the door and rang the bell. Her mother came out.
Jay looked at her mother's expressions and got more worried "Mrs. Smith, is everything alright? You seem super tense. What's wrong?"
Mrs. Smith saw Jay and hugged him tightly. He knew that getting all pumped up was not normal, he knew something was off and his instincts were right.
He hugged her back and started wondering what is going on with Mrs. Smith. He tried to calm her down first and she took him along with his friends inside her house.
Once they settled in the living room, she began her plight, "My dear, I don't know where Lucinda is. For the last two days I've been trying to contact her but I couldn't get in touch with her.
I wonder where she might be. I have bad vibes. I just hope that wherever she is she should be fine. I hope my darling is safe and sound. Have you heard anything from her lately?"
Jay got emotional when he saw Mrs. Smith cried, "What? What do you mean you can't get in touch with her? I thought she might be at home because we haven't seen her in college since last week.
I even tried to contact her but she said she was busy so I didn't try to disturb her. Though I had a weird feeling deep inside so I asked if everything was fine and she sounded alright. I wish I could have met her."
Naomi inquired, "Where's Mr. Smith?"
Mrs. Smith replied, "He went to the police station to file a missing report of our daughter. He will be here soon. Let's see what he finds out."
While Mrs. Smith was speaking Mr. Smith arrived. She ran and quickly opened the door. Mr. Smith joined them in the living area. He sighed! He then sat on the couch.
Mrs. Smith gave a glass of water to him, "What did the police say?"
He took a sip, "Well! As of now they will begin an investigation but they definitely said that she is missing or she might have been kidnapped."
On hearing that Mrs. Smith wasn't able to control herself and bursted into tears. Alicia stood up and hugged Mrs. Smith. She tried to comfort her.
A few moments later Mrs. Smith joined Mr. Smith on the couch. He took a deep breath and started thinking straight.
He took a deep breath, "If you guys have any clue about her please do let us know so that police can help us in any manner possible. I think it would be better if we all start getting clues about her."
Axel nodded, "I agree with you. I think we all should start connecting the dots. Let's talk from the day we saw her last night. We might find some clues if we go like this.
Jay supported him, "You are right, we should figure out first what she has talked to each one of us before she went missing. We might find a clue."
All of them started thinking before they could speak because they couldn't just speak anything just like that. They had to think hard before they utter a single word. They had to be super cautious because it's about her friend's life.
Lucinda's parents were quite tense and her mother kept on praying that her daughter should be just fine. She tried to control her tears but she couldn't stop being emotional.
Mr. Smith tried to calm his wife down so that she could start thinking straight or else they might have some major clues regarding their only child.
He was patting her shoulders, "Honey, you need to calm down. This is not the time to get emotional or else we might miss something. Please try to control your emotions."
She wiped off her tears, "You are right honey, I am sorry that it's just thinking all negative. I just couldn't control myself. I wonder in what condition she might be in. I just hope that she is safe and sound and that's all I want. I wish we could see her cheerful face soon."
Everyone started getting tense when they heard Mrs. Smith's plight. They tried to control their emotions but it was hard for them as well.
