"In a few hours, this outpost will be raided by Arcadian troops," Hiro began, his words met with gasps and worried murmurs from the crowd. Families huddled close, and the faces of children and adults alike reflected fear.
The gathering consisted of every single soul in the outpost, both young and old, dressed in various types of attire you can think of.
Children clung to their parents, and anxious whispers filled the air.
Hiro continued his speech. "I won't sugarcoat this. We're facing a formidable enemy. I know how the Arcadians have been a terror on this planet. But I need you all to listen carefully."
He paused before continuing. "You've faced danger before, and this is just another. We've got the advantage of knowing the terrain better than anyone."
The residents began to nod and murmur their agreement, their confidence gradually building.
"They will come, and we'll be waiting for them," Hiro said, reassuring them.
