Hiro slowly woke up, groaning softly. His head hurt, and his body felt sore all over. He realized he had crash-landed on a planet. The air smelled strange, a mix of dirt and something metallic. In the distance, he heard a faint humming sound carried by the breeze, and he could feel bruises starting to form on his skin.
When he finally came to, he found himself amidst a chaotic mess. Debris littered the floor, sparking wires hanging from torn panels. His breathing was heavy, the acrid scent of burnt metal stinging his nostrils. Hiro couldn't remember what had happened, but the last thing he recalled was activating the FTL drive.
The ship's console blinked with sporadic warnings, but one message stood out: "EMERGENCY: EVACUATE SHIP IMMEDIATELY."
Hiro's heart raced as he unfastened his safety harness and stumbled to his feet but he felt a sharp pain shoot through his right leg. He had to move fast. He winced in agony and struggled to move without putting weight on it.
The ship had become a ticking time bomb, and he couldn't afford to be caught in its explosion. Clutching a small bag containing essential supplies, Hiro staggered toward the exit, the ship's red emergency lights casting an eerie glow.
The hatch hissed open, revealing a world unlike any Hiro had ever seen. The sky was a swirling tapestry of vivid colors – purples, blues, and pinks merging in hues he didn't think nature was capable of producing. The air was thick and humid, carrying with it unfamiliar scents that tugged at Hiro's senses.
He stepped onto solid ground, the soil beneath his boots slightly spongy. Hiro looked around, his gaze sweeping across the alien landscape. Towering trees with luminescent leaves stretched toward the heavens, casting an ethereal glow. Strange creatures flitted through the air, their iridescent wings catching the light as they darted about.
"Status update Nova," he said, reaching out to his neural core. He waited, hoping for a response but none came. He felt a moment of panic when he couldn't reach his AI. Hiro tried assessing again, but it was unresponsive. "AI? Can you hear me?" he shouted.
There was no response. Hiro was stranded on an unknown planet, with no means of communication. "Great, just what I needed. Stranded on an unknown planet with a faulty AI system," he muttered to himself.
Hiro stood up and assessed the damage to his shuttle. It was far from repair, and he had no way to contact anyone for help. His heart sank as he realized the gravity of his situation. Survival instincts kicked in as he surveyed the area.
Mentally taking note of the crash site, Hiro left the damaged space shuttle, hoping to come back to see what he can salvage from the wreck.
As he wandered through the strange landscape, he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He brushed it off as paranoia, and continued on his search for any intelligent life form.
Suddenly, he heard a voice behind him speaking in Galactic Standard, the generally accepted official language of the galaxy.
"I have not seen an Earthling in quite some time. Especially a male. What brings you to our planet?"
Hiro turned around and saw a tall, imposing figure standing before him - obviously female from the curvy mound on her chest and a body that seemed to defy gravity and skin that shimmered in the sunlight.
She had a female human figure that would put an average female to shame. She had skin with a faint brownish-red coloration, long, flowing black hair, and a slender, athletic figure.
She was wearing a sleek, form-fitting black catsuit that hugged her curves in all the right places. The front zipper was left partially undone, revealing a hint of cleavage that led down to a magnificent curve which added a touch of allure to her already striking appearance.
Despite the exposed skin, she exuded confidence and control, as if daring anyone to underestimate her based on her looks alone.
Hiro stammered, distracted by the two ripe lemons that were screaming for his hands. "My shuttle's engines failed, and I had to make an FTL jump to try and land on this planet. I don't even know where I am," Hiro replied, surprised by how easily the words came out.
The alien beauty walked closer to him, her eyes scanning him up and down. "You're lucky to be alive. The planet's atmosphere is toxic to most beings. I'm surprised your species can even survive here," she said in a voice that sent chills down Hiro's spine.
Hiro felt a jolt of electricity shoot through him as he looked at her. He had encountered many different alien species over the years, but he had never seen anything like her. He felt his heart racing as she walked circles around him, her eyes fixed on him.
Hiro stood straight, feeling a sudden surge of adrenaline. "Who are you?" he asked.
"I am Kaida. I was sent to investigate the crash that occurred in this zone," she replied, her voice commanding and seductive at the same time.
Hiro felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had never been so grateful to see someone in his life. "Thank the stars. I've been stranded here for hours. Do you have a way to get me off this planet?" he asked eagerly.
Kaida narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm afraid not. The planet's location is classified, and you being here means you know something. I'm sorry but we'll have to bring you in for questioning and examination," she said firmly.
"Wait, what? And who is 'we'?" Hiro asked, taken aback by Kaida's response.
"Just come with me," Kaida said, attempting to take Hiro's hand. But Hiro acted on impulse and pulled his hand away.
Kaida let out a frustrated sigh before letting out a melodic whistle. Suddenly, two other figures materialized out of nowhere. It was then that Hiro realized they had been there the whole time.
They were both females Hiro could tell from the curve on their chest and the one behind. They were dressed in what appeared to be a simple robe and cloak, but even that couldn't detract from their stunning beauty.
"He's coming with us," Kaida declared, her companions moving closer. Hiro's heart raced as he realized he was outnumbered.
Before he could react, one of the two females shot him with a tranquilizer dart. Almost instantly, his body began to go numb. Hiro struggled to remain upright, but his limbs failed him and he collapsed to the ground.
Just as he thought he was about to hit the hard ground, he felt a warm presence behind him break his fall. His head came to rest in between two soft round pillows and he quickly passed out.
As Hiro lost consciousness, he faintly remembered being lifted and carried. The three enthralling figures moved with grace and strength, their alien beauty contrasting with their commanding manner.
