Chapter 14 - Okay princess, let's dance

"How did they manage to...?" Hiro started, his voice trembling with a touch of urgency as he spoke, his eyes darting around as his thoughts were momentarily overtaken by the gravity of the situation.

After a brief pause, he gathered himself and pressed on, determination lacing his words. "Keep them busy. I'm on my way."

Finn's heart raced as he turned to Amy, his eyes darting back and forth, searching for any sign of impending danger. He swallowed hard, feeling a knot form in his stomach, and his lips parted to speak. "I'll keep her busy, finish up," he said, his voice low and urgent.

As he turned to face Suki, Finn's eyes locked with hers, and he could feel her wary gaze piercing him like a knife. He knew she was not to be underestimated, and he braced himself for what was to come.

"Okay princess," Finn teased, his words dripping with confidence. "Let's dance."

A tense silence hung in the air as they stared each other down, their bodies coiled like springs, ready to pounce at the slightest provocation. Finn could feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins, his muscles twitching with anticipation.

With a sudden burst of energy, they both launched themselves at each other, the air crackling with the sound of their bodies colliding.

Finn threw the first punch, his entire being behind the blow, his knuckles connecting with a sickening thud.

In the nick of time, Suki's instincts kicked in. She dropped to the ground, her body coiling like a spring before launching into a graceful summersault.

Her legs whipped through the air, connecting with Finn's jaw in a powerful arc that sent shockwaves through his bones.

Finn reeled backward, his footing unsteady, but Suki showed no signs of mercy. Her eyes locked onto him with predatory focus, and she sprang into action.

Closing the distance in a heartbeat, Suki unleashed a torrent of strikes upon Finn's vulnerable form. Her fists pummeled his body and face, each blow landing with the precision of a master.

Finn's arms flailed in a frantic attempt to deflect the onslaught, but Suki's relentless assault left him little room to breathe.

As Suki rained on him, Finn kept his composure, waiting for the right moment to strike. With a fierce determination, he suddenly lunged forward, grabbing his opponent by the neck.

"Gotcha!" he exclaimed with a grin on his face, pushing her away with a well-timed kick to the gut.

Suki's feet slid across the smooth metal floor, her heart racing with anticipation as she braced herself for Finn's attack. Without warning, his kick came hurtling towards her, faster than she had anticipated.

Her body reacted instinctively, but it was too late. Suki's knee hit the metal surface with a dull thud, the pain shooting up her leg like a bolt of lightning. She winced, gritting her teeth as she struggled to regain her footing.

Just as she thought she had avoided the brunt of the attack, Finn's foot connected with her side. "Shit!" she gasped, feeling the wind knocked out of her as she stumbled to the ground.

Her palms hit the metal surface hard, the cold, unyielding material scraping against her skin as she tried to break her fall.

Baam!

The impact resonated through her body, leaving her dazed and disoriented.

Without a single breath of warning, Finn sprang atop Suki, his lithe form eclipsing hers. A devious grin played upon his lips, his eyes glimmering with a mix of mischief and determination. He relished this moment, readying himself for the impending assault.

"Stay still now," Finn murmured with an air of command, his voice dripping with icy confidence. His words hung in the air, pregnant with a promise of impending pain.

With lightning reflexes, Suki sensed the imminent danger and instinctively angled her head, gracefully evading the first punch.

Time seemed to slow as the forceful blow sliced through the empty space where her face had just been. Her heart pounded in her chest, adrenaline coursing through her veins, heightening her senses.

But the second strike found its mark, a resounding thud reverberating through her body. Pain erupted within her, a fiery ache consuming her chest. A stifled groan escaped her lips, a testament to the anguish she endured.

Despite the searing pain that wracked her body, Suki refused to yield. As soon as Finn sent his third punch, her hand shot forward, seizing his oncoming fist, her teeth sinking into his flesh, filling her mouth with the metallic taste of blood.

Seizing the opportunity, Suki swiftly capitalized on her grip, using it as leverage to propel herself upward. Her boot connected with Finn's face in a swift, forceful strike. The sound of impact echoed through the room, as Finn stumbled backward, his features twisted in a mixture of surprise and pain.

Despite the chaos and noise of the fight, Amy remained focused on her task. She knew that their success hinged on her ability to call for reinforcements and get them the help they needed.

Finn's body crumpled to the ground, a sickening thud accompanying his fall. Blood spurted from his nose, mingling with the dirt beneath him. He screamed in agony, the pain coursing through his body like a white-hot flame.

"Arrgh, you bitch!" he yelled, his voice muffled by his damaged nose.

Suki's heart raced as she watched Finn writhing in pain. She crawled backward on her butt, her breaths coming in ragged gasps. Once she felt she had moved far enough away, she stood up shakily, her legs feeling like jelly.

Suki's voice trembled with fatigue as she muttered, "Just give up already."

Finn, with a chilling laugh that echoed through the air, rose from the dirt-covered ground. Blood trickled from his nose, staining his fingers scarlet, yet he paid it no mind.

A wicked grin stretched across his face as he taunted, "Sorry princess, but this isn't over yet!"

Without warning, Finn lunged at Suki, his body a blur of motion. Astonishingly, she remained rooted in place, unwavering.

Drawing closer, he swiftly withdrew a gun from his holster, pointing it directly at her forehead. In response, Suki mimicked the same gesture, her hand forming an imaginary weapon.

"Are you stupid? Don't think I won't kill you," Finn snarled, the gun in his hand crackling with electrical discharges, signaling its readiness to unleash a deadly shot.

"Try me," Suki retorted, her expression unyielding and filled with confidence. With a subtle increase in pressure, she pressed her finger-gun against Finn's temple, defying him to follow through on his threat.

"And... done," Amy declared, her voice carrying a note of triumph, as if the weight of the world had been lifted from her shoulders. With a gentle tap of her fingertip against the final button, she sealed the culmination of her arduous efforts.

As her words hung in the air, Hiro burst into the room like a tempest, his presence commanding attention.

In his hands, his twin laser guns gleamed with an ominous metallic sheen, their sleek barrels pointed unwaveringly at Finn and Amy, their wrath ready to be unleashed.

"I think that's enough trouble," Hiro growled through clenched teeth, his voice laced with barely contained anger.

Suki sighed in relief at the sound of Hiro's voice. Her eyes were still locked onto Finn's, a fierce determination burning within them.

Without hesitation, she pivoted her finger-gun with a seasoned finesse, as if it were a real firearm. In one fluid motion, she pulled an imaginary trigger.

"Bang!" Suki mouthed silently with a seductive smile, her whispered sound echoing in the tense silence between them.

Leaving Finn dumbfounded, she gracefully turned on her heel and went to stand beside Hiro.
