"96, 97, 98, 99, a hundred thousand Space Cores," Hiro said, his voice echoing off the walls of Commander Birdie's office. He counted the final payment before zipping the bag and handing it over to Suki, who stood beside him.
"You know it's always nice doing business with you, Commander," Hiro said, stretching out his hand for a handshake.
"Likewise, Hiro," Commander Birdie replied, standing up to meet Hiro halfway in a firm handshake.
"So, if I may ask, what's on the hard disk?" Hiro inquired, raising an eyebrow as he and Birdie took a few steps away from the table.
"You want to say you haven't taken a peek?" Birdie asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Well, no. I haven't," Hiro replied, casting a quick side glance at Suki, who kept her face void of any emotions as she walked closely behind them.
"Let's leave it that way then. You've done the job and gotten your pay," Birdie said, with traces of finality in his tone.
"Forgive my curiosity," Hiro apologized with a mischievous grin. "We'll be on our way now, Commander." Hiro said, as soon as they got to the door.
"I'll be in touch," Commander Birdie replied before slamming the door to his office.
Hiro and Suki stood outside the door, staring at each other for a few seconds. Hiro broke the silence, "Shall we?" he asked, extending his arm out to Suki.
Suki reached out and grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers. "Yes, we shall," she replied.
And so the two of them walked back to the Hovercycle they came with. Birdie had set up the exchange in the Eastern Sector of Terra Nova, and they were to make their way back to the Western Sector.
Hiro slipped on the hovercycle, and Suki sat behind him. She wrapped her arms around his muscular built, and Hiro felt the press of her soft breasts against his back. He felt the excitement growing between his legs, and a mischievous smile spread across his lips.
Shaking away the feelings, hoping to come back to them as soon as they were safely behind a door, Hiro powered up the hovercycle, and with tremendous speed, zoomed into the city.
The neon lights of the city blinded them as they rode through the bustling streets. They weaved in and out of traffic, dodging flying cars and hovercycles with ease. They were masters of the roads, and nothing could stop them.
Soon, they got to their underground hideout somewhere in Zone 2 of the Western Sector, Terra Nova. They parked the hovercycle and went in to check on Tisha.
"Tisha?" Hiro called as he checked around the hideout. It used to be an underground storage facility of some sort, but it became abandoned. Hiro had discovered it during a time he was trying to escape some street gang he had double-crossed in a job, and since then, he had made it their little base.
The living area was wide, well-decorated, and bathed in neon lights. There were sofas arranged haphazardly, a large holographic screen, and a workstation at a corner. The rest of the place wasn't much to look at as they barely used the place. Except when trying to cool down from a job or to take some time off.
"We're back, Tisha," Suki called out, but there was no response.
"Seems she isn't around. Maybe she went to get some supplies," Hiro concluded as he slumped down on the sofa.
"Well, that leaves the two of us," Suki said with a mischievous and seductive grin.
She dropped the bag of Space Cores on the table and walked towards Hiro with a seductive grin. Her black bodytight suit hugged her curves in all the right places, and Hiro couldn't help but feel a stirring in his loins.
"And what do you suggest we do with the whole place to ourselves?" Hiro asked, playing along with her game.
Suki climbed onto the sofa and straddled him, grinding her hips against his growing bulge. Her lips brushed against his ear, sending shivers down his spine.
"I don't know, any ideas?" She whispered, her warm breath tickling his neck.
Hiro didn't need to be asked twice. He pulled down the zipper on her suit, revealing her ample chest. He leaned in and took one of her nipples into his mouth, sucking and biting gently.
Suki moaned softly, her hands sliding down his chest and to the growing bulge in his pants. She stroked him through the fabric, making him groan in pleasure.
But just as things were getting heated, they heard a noise. It was faint, but it was there. Hiro pulled away from Suki and listened intently. It sounded like footsteps, and they were getting closer.
He motioned for Suki to be quiet and crept towards the door, his hand on the hilt of his knife. The footsteps grew louder, and Hiro braced himself for a fight. But when the door opened, it was Tisha who walked in.
"Sorry I'm late," she said, holding a bag of supplies. "Did I interrupt something?"
"You could have just walked in like you weren't a criminal." Hiro grumbled as he returned the knife to its sheath.
"Aren't we all?" Tisha said as she dropped the bag of supplies beside the bag containing their recent payment.
Hiro and Suki looked at each other and laughed, the tension from earlier dissipating. They settled back onto the sofa, happy to be in each other's company. They counted the Space Cores and split the profits, planning their next job.
Tisha excused herself to the room, leaving Hiro and Suki alone to pick up where they left off.
Hiro turned to face Suki, his eyes sparkling with anticipation as he reignited the list between them. "So where were we?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
Suki's lips curled into a sultry smile as she locked eyes with him. "I believe you were about to take me on a journey to the world beyond," she replied, her voice thick with lust.
The room felt charged with electricity as their gazes locked and their bodies leaned towards each other.
Hiro leaned in for a kiss, his lips pressed firmly against Suki's. He unzipped the upper part of her suit, feeling her warmth against his bare skin.
Suki's hands moved down to his waist, unzipping his jumpsuit and pulling his shirt off his head. They were both bare from the waist up, their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace.
As their lips danced, they heard a sound from the door, growing louder and louder. At first, they ignored it, but the distraction was becoming unbearable. Hiro pulled away from Suki, opening his eyes to see what was happening.
"What's wrong, Hiro? Can't handle me today?" Suki asked, her amusement evident in her voice.
"Tisha? Some quiet please," Hiro shouted towards the door.
"Suki, Tisha is over there," Suki replied, pointing towards the corner of the room where Tisha sat with her headphones plugged in, working on her computer.
"If she's there, then who is...?" Hiro trailed off, interrupted by the sound of the door being kicked open.
A group of soldiers barged into the room, their guns trained on Hiro and Suki. Hiro and Suki sprang to their feet, their naked upper bodies exposed to the intruders.
"Freeze," a woman's voice commanded. A woman in her early forties emerged from among the soldiers. She was dressed in a gray suit that screamed wealth and power.
Hiro's hand reached for his knife, but he was quickly stopped by the woman. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," she warned, pointing her own gun at him.
Hiro and Suki's hearts raced as they took in the situation. The room was filled with tension, and the soldiers were all armed to the teeth.
"Who are you?" Hiro demanded, trying to keep his cool.
"I am Agent Judie," the woman replied, her voice icy. "And you three are under arrest."
"For what?" Suki asked, her voice trembling slightly.
"For lots of things," Agent Johnson replied. "The Zlanov Crew isn't a saint across this galaxy, or are you?."
Hiro and Suki looked at each other, both knowing that she wasn't wrong. But it didn't matter. The soldiers moved in, their guns still trained on them.
Agent Johnson looked at them with disdain. "And get some clothes on both of you," she said, covering her face with her hand.
Hiro and Suki zipped up their jumpsuits, Hiro's eye scanning the room for possible strategies to use to turn around the tides.
The soldiers moved in, their guns still trained on them. Hiro, Suki and Tisha were quickly restrained, their hands tied behind their backs as they say them down on the sofa.
Agent Judie sat on the table in front of them, her eyes like two daggers. The three of them kept their calm, their hands working furiously behind their backs to loosen the ropes that bound them.
"I thought we were under arrest," Tisha said, her voice young but with an underlying authority.
"You are," Agent Judie said. "But you're not going to be going through the same process as everyone else. You three are special, and you deserve something special."
The three of them looked at each other, silently communicating. Then, as one, they sprang into action. Tisha and Suki disarmed the two soldiers standing behind them, while Hiro grabbed the gun from Agent Judie's holster.
"Something special, you say?" Hiro asked, pointing the gun at Agent Judie. "Like what?"
"Like a job," Agent Judie said calmly. "A very dangerous job."
