Hawk was already 100% sure that these Ghosts were definitely the souls of his own people who refused to rest in peace after they died. Otherwise, how could the Ghosts, who were known for their bloodthirsty and murderous nature, do such incredible things to themselves?
"They are not malicious towards me, perhaps, they know that this place is not safe, the Guardian civilization's fleet is coming soon, they should be taking me to escape from the danger ..." Hawke pondered silently.
"I just don't know, where is the destination they have picked for me ..."
In the midst of a strange universe of blue and blood red, Hawke's fleet, wrapped in ghosts, embarked on a bizarre journey to an unknown destination.
It was the fastest journey Hawke had experienced since he had arrived in this universe.
To be sure, amidst this speed, an extremely pronounced relativistic effect occurs, that is, clock slowing and ruler shrinking, which is usually the time that Hawke experiences, will be different from that of the outside world.
It is possible that here in Hawke, only one second of time has passed and a year has passed in the outside world. There are many wonderful physical phenomena that can occur under high speed movement.
But Hawke did not detect any acceleration of gravity, which means that, without realising it, Hawke went from a state of rest and was accelerated to a state of motion extremely close to the speed of light. In the process, the acceleration of gravity was shielded from it.
"This, seems to be gravitational shielding technology ..." Hawke thought silently, "The Ghost Race, it's just too strong."
In this situation, Hawke could do nothing, nothing, the only thing he could do, was to wait slowly.
Only a few hours had passed since the discovery of the Ghosts and the Lucca fleet. For Hawke, these few hours were like a dream.
Together with the tens of thousands of Luccas in the new homeworld, they had survived. There were countless Lukas on their knees, crying and shouting as if they were thanking some great being in the underworld.
Luca II was quite resourceful, and when it saw that its people were in such a posture, it immediately broadcasted loudly through the communication system in the New Homeworld, "The only one who can change the temperament of the bloodthirsty and brutal Ghost Race is the Great True God, O True God, whose gaze is watching this place, whose gaze is watching the master! The master is the chosen spokesman of God by the true God!"
"In the midst of this cruel and dark universe, the only way for our Lucan civilisation to survive is to follow closely in the Master's footsteps, to follow in the Master's footsteps! Do you not see? The fleet that tried to turn against the master was wiped out by the true gods manipulating the Ghosts, and these Ghosts turned around to protect the master instead!"
"We have survived only by the gift of the Gods' Advocate! Only by following our master closely can we continue to receive the grace of the gods and be strong enough to return to the Alliance to save our people who are in the midst of the fire!"
"Swear with me! Loyalty to our master forever!" Luca II howled loudly.
Emotional creatures are always particularly easy to stir up, and Hawke saw that thousands of Lucasians had managed to be stirred up by Luca II's frenzied oratory, and they began to kneel in the New Homeworld, shouting after Luca II, "Semper Fi!"
This emotion had a contagious magic, and gradually, led by these thousands of Lucas, all the Lucas fell into this frenzy and began to shout together, "Always loyal to the master!"
Watching this scene, Hawke laughed bitterly.
"I myself don't even know what the future holds, and you all still follow me? Not afraid of being led into the pit by me? However, En ... Luca II is still good, quite knowledgeable."
Hawke thought so, the words came to his lips, but turned into: "I once received an oracle from the true God, which guided me to save you. The true God's gaze will always be on this place, and all evil forces that dare to stand in our way will be destroyed! I, for one, will lead you all to the light!"
"Ever faithful to the Master!"
"Semper Fi!"
The frenzied shouts rose and fell, making Hawke a little distracted by what he heard. After saying these words, Hawke simply turned off the communication system and let the crazy Lucasians have their way in the new home ship.
Silence was restored to Hawke's communication channel. As he looked out of the window, the blue and crimson universe was intertwined, Hawke's mind was very worried.
It had been five hours since he had fallen into this wondrous state, and Hawke wondered how much longer this wondrous journey would continue, or how much time had actually passed in the outside world.
"At the moment, the detailed speed cannot be measured, but it must be above ninety-five percent of the speed of light. En ... let's say at ninety-five percent of the speed of light, when you reach that speed, the time ratio will be about one to three and a half, that is, here, five hours, sixteen hours have passed in the outside world. Above ninety-five percent of the speed of light, the time ratio rises significantly with each point of increase until it reaches a ratio of one to infinity. Hopefully, the universe will not have been destroyed by the time I break away from this speed."
It is possible that if the speed is extremely close to the speed of light, then the time ratio will also reach very terrifying levels, possibly even one hundred billion to one trillion, one trillion, and it is possible that one second has passed here in Hawke and one hundred billion years have passed in the outside world. It was hard to say what the universe would look like at that time.
Fortunately, Hawke did not have to wait long, after only one day, the extremely severe red and blue shifts that Hawke had observed disappeared, which meant that the speed of Hawke's motion relative to them had been reduced to near-stationary speed.
"Is it out of the voyage from near light speed?" There was some excitement in Hawke's mind.
The starlight returned to normal and the first thing he did when he broke away from this speed was to observe where he was.
Hawke saw thousands of exceptionally bright stars in the celestial sphere, and after a little distance measurement, Hawke found that the farthest of these stars was only twenty light years away, and the nearest one was even only 0.3 light years away.
The stars were wrapped in a dense band of dust, and their distance from each other was very close. It seems that this is an interstellar dust belt spanning tens of light-years. The age of these stars ranges from tens of millions of years to more than a billion years. On cosmic scales, this was a fairly young age, and the fact that there were not many heavy elements in the material composition of these stars suggested that they were at best second-generation stars. This result put Hawke's heart at ease. This meant that not much time had passed in the real universe.
Of course, this "how long" was on a cosmic scale, and as long as it did not exceed a billion years, it was not too long on a cosmic scale.
After it had stopped, Hawke felt the strange energy that had enveloped his ship leave.
"What did my people want to do when they brought me here?" There was great curiosity in Hawke's mind, and besides curiosity, there was a little sadness.
Hawke had once lived with them on top of the Earth, and now, meeting again, they had become so much more, one a cyborg civilization, the other a ghost race.
Hawke could not see them through the visible wavelengths, and only through his instruments could he detect them.
Hawke saw that at the end of this long journey, the energy intensity of these Ghosts, dropped to less than forty percent of their peak. It seemed that carrying Hawk and the Lucca fleet on an interstellar voyage had drained them of much of their energy.
Hawke sensed that they were slowly moving away from him.
"Where are you going?" Hawke muttered, with a little reluctance in his heart.
Seemingly sensing Hawk's thoughts, Hawk observed that the intensity of the radiation of these Ghosts, appeared to change in some way. Moreover, there was a pattern to this change.
Hawke's spirit lifted and he immediately began to parse.
"Use the shock peak as a bar and the shock trough as a point, and decode the words in Morse code ... en, parsed out."
The parsing went exceptionally well, and what was parsed out was two words.
"Revenge."
In that instant, seeing those two words, Hawke had an urge to cry.
The last bit of doubt in Hawke's heart disappeared. This Ghost Race was absolutely, absolutely, one hundred percent, the one that his own dead clansmen had changed into.
They had died, but they hadn't died out in the universe. Out of hatred, out of anger, they had become Ghosts, bloodthirsty and brutal, killing every civilization they encountered, but when they met Hawk, they changed.
"I will get to the bottom of this, and I will definitely avenge us humans!" Hawke silently made up his mind.
"Your strength is still weak, it would be dangerous to encounter a civilisation of level four or above! Why don't you stay here and we'll find a way to become stronger together!" Through the radio waves, Hawk broadcasted this message in the direction they had left.
But Hawke received no response. In the ghost detector, the curve representing the ghosts became smaller and smaller, and finally, after an hour, the curve became a straight line.
This represented that the distance between them and Hawke had exceeded one light hour, roughly 1.1 billion kilometres.
"They're gone." Hawke was a little sad.
"No, no, there are still those Jupiter Spirits that I caught within my ship, I can explore the powerful mechanism of the Ghost Race by cultivating these Jupiter Spirits, and even, I can cultivate them to be powerful and turn them into a big help for my revenge!"
Immediately, Hawk's mood began to become excited. Feeling the burst of fluctuations in the box, Hawke made up his mind, "I will definitely nurture you well and make you powerful as soon as possible."
