The three County-class ships were named Voyager, Sun and Sky Court. Of these, the Sun was the largest in tonnage and was the flagship that Hawke inhabited.
Together, these three ships formed the core of Hawke's fleet. These three ships are equipped with a large number of weapons, including hydrogen bombs, atomic bombs, laser cannons, missiles and high velocity machine guns.
In fact, if it was possible, Hawke even wanted to build a city-level or provincial-level ship, but after careful consideration, Hawke gave up on this idea.
It was unnecessary to build such a large ship. Due to the limitations of Hawke's current technology, if he built such a large ship, its power system, protection system, manoeuvrability and other aspects would not be able to keep up, and it would not be as practical as a county-level ship.
Compared to the three County-class ships, the 70 Village-class ships were a notch below in terms of weaponry, but they were also quite powerful, while the Village-class ships were not equipped with nuclear bombs. In Hawk's plan, in the event of an interstellar war, the Village class ships would mainly serve as escorts and close encounters with the enemy, and there would be no need to equip them with nuclear bombs.
Hawke had arrived on the Sun and was at the helm of a total of 1,073 ships that had left Titan and were all in space.
Looking behind him, at the huge space fleet, a sense of pride washed over Hawke's heart.
"All of these are my work! They will carry me on a great voyage!"
"But before the voyage, there is one more thing to do."
"That is, to reach Jupiter and capture the Jupiter spirits!"
"Set off!"
Hawk gave the order to move forward, and the huge fleet set sail in a mighty manner, heading towards Jupiter to kill it.
In order to build this huge fleet, Hawke's Jupiter spirit reserves were depleted. For future construction, Hawke had to stockpile some Jupiter Spirits and take them with him to the Sky Court Four star system.
Although the Jupiter Spirits were found to have mutated a little and possessed a little intelligence other than their instincts, Hawke was not worried in the least. With such a huge fleet at hand, if he came across another Jupiter Spirit of the strength that had sent Hawk fleeing in disarray last time, Hawk was sure that he could wipe it out in a second.
The power of the laser cannons on a village class ship like the Hope was no match for that of a county class ship.
With the increase in size as well as mass, the manoeuvrability of a starship would inevitably decline. A village class ship can withstand an overload of two hundred and thirty times, but the largest county class ship can only withstand an overload of no more than one hundred times. This means that the three ships, the Voyager, the Sun and the Sky Court, can only withstand a maximum acceleration of 500 metres per second.
The huge fleet accelerated together, finally reaching a speed of four hundred kilometres per second, and sped off together towards Jupiter.
During the half month or so of the space voyage, Hawke manoeuvred the fleet into various formations, slowly becoming skilled in all aspects of the space formation.
Finally, the huge figure of Jupiter appeared in Hawke's line of sight. Hawke manoeuvred the entire fleet and began to slow down, slowly entering orbit around Jupiter.
The densely packed ships were like a god of death, bringing destruction to the creatures of Jupiter.
Because of Hawk's personal command, the Jupiter spirits on Jupiter were attracted by the aura of wisdom, and all of them, whether they were mutated Jupiter spirits or ordinary Jupiter spirits, swarmed towards Hawk's fleet in a frenzy. The total number was almost 100,000!
Detecting the strong blue shift of the countless radiation sources, Hawke did not panic at all. His huge computing power came into play, and almost instantly, he calculated all the information on the approach speed, radiation intensity, and current position of each of these 100,000 Jupiter Spirits, and arranged a plan for each of them to deal with it.
The entire capture plan, under Hawk's planning, went very smoothly, either by eliminating them directly, or by letting them get close and capturing them, or by slowing them down with laser guns, etc.
Among this large group of Jupiter spirits, there were hundreds of mutated Jupiter spirits, whose lowest radiation intensity reached 100 times that of ordinary Jupiter spirits. Hawk was very interested in this kind of mutant Jupiter Spirits.
One thousand village-class ships and seventy village-class ships started firing together. But they were shooting at different targets. Hawke's huge computing power ensured that the output power was optimised to the maximum. A Jupiter spirit could be destroyed in three and a half seconds by seven laser guns firing at the same time, then Hawke could guarantee that the firing time of the laser guns would never be four seconds. Similarly, in Hawke's planning arrangement, a Jupiter spirit needed to approach the fleet in thirty seconds and then be captured, then under Hawke's control, this Jupiter spirit would never approach the fleet in twenty-nine or thirty-one seconds.
Hawke's control of the fleet was so precise that more than a thousand ships worked together with unparalleled tacit understanding, without a single waste of resources.
Under the huge fleet, the Jupiter Spirits were like lambs to the slaughter, whether they were mutated Jupiter Spirits or ordinary Jupiter Spirits, all of them had no resistance at all, and were all captured by Hawk and locked up inside the ships in one special box.
In less than three hours, at least half of this huge collection of Jupiter Spirits, which numbered almost over 100,000, were eliminated by Hawke, and the other half were all captured.
Looking at his harvest, Hawke smiled happily and secretly sighed: "I have my own day, weren't you arrogant last time, eh? You were so cocky last time, eh? Chasing after my ass? Now you're not arrogant anymore, come on!"
As he spoke in a casual manner, Hawk maneuvered his huge fleet to the next Jupiter Spirit gathering point.
The entire Jupiter spirit population could be said to be endless. Jupiter, which reached several thousand times the size of Earth, was simply too big. Hawk did not even dare to estimate how many Jupiter spirits were on the entire planet.
Tens of millions? A few hundred million? A few billion? Who knows.
The huge planet Jupiter was like a huge, unguarded orchard, full of fruit trees, full of sweet and tasty fruits, and Hawke was now like a gatherer, taking the ripe, sweet and tasty fruits one by one into his pocket.
No amount of fruit was too much compared to the long journey he was about to embark on for thousands of years. With that in mind, Hawke was even more energised as he began to make his way across Jupiter.
On the way, Hawke lost interest in attacking a single Jupiter spirit, and simply fired a laser to destroy it. The so-called "wealthy and powerful", I think, is just like that.
It was not until ten minutes later that Hawk found another Jupiter Spirit gathering point. This one was tens of thousands of kilometres away from the surface of Jupiter, and was supported by a small meteor about twenty metres in diameter, orbiting the planet without a care in the world.
Hawke sneered and rushed towards them.
Sensing a whiff of intelligence, the Jupiter spirits, manipulated by simple instinct, immediately surged towards Hawke as if in a frenzy. Hawke laughed out loud, "I was just about to have you all come over so I could catch them."
Immediately, Hawk commanded the huge fleet to send out laser beams at the same time, pulling the Jupiter Spirits apart one by one, and then maneuvered the village-class ships up and caught them one by one.
This time, a total of 3,000 Jupiter Spirits were caught with the radiation intensity of ordinary Jupiter Spirits. After shutting them up, Hawk continued his search.
The Jupiter Spirit capture programme was, for Hawke, the last great meal before the 6,300-year-long famine, and Hawke had to seize this opportunity to feast on them no matter what.
During the month and a half of capture, Hawke was like a fierce tiger, wreaking havoc among the sheep. He ate as many Jupiter spirits as he could, and wasted them as he ate, without any sense of thrift. If he couldn't eat them, he simply wiped them out. Anyway, in the orchard of Jupiter, there are endless fruits, and Huo Ke can pick them as he pleases.
Within this month and a half, Hawke had captured at least millions of Jupiter Spirits, among which, the mutated Jupiter Spirits reached several thousand. Hawke deliberately kept each of the mutated Jupiter Spirits together with several hundred ordinary Jupiter Spirits, intentionally allowing them to devour the ordinary Jupiter Spirits. As a result, after half a month, Hawke was left with only thousands of Jupiter Spirits, but the radiation intensity of each Jupiter Spirit reached thousands of times the intensity of ordinary Jupiter Spirits.
Hawke already knew that the Mutant Jupiter Spirits had the ability to evolve, and Hawke did so to see how far the Mutant Jupiter Spirits could eventually evolve to and what level of intelligence they could possess.
But the result was quite disappointing, even if the radiation intensity of these Mutant Jupiter Spirits reached thousands of times that of ordinary Jupiter Spirits, their intelligence level was only equivalent to that of an ant, at most, they only knew some simple information exchange and simple cooperation with each other, and the rest was nothing.
"No good." Hawke shook his head and sighed, giving up on the idea of letting them evolve their intelligence to keep him company.
The capture operation continued for another month and a half, and only when Hawke really had no space to hold these Jupiter Spirits did he stop the operation, looking at the still endless amount of Jupiter Spirits above Jupiter, Hawke could not help but feel some pity in his heart.
"Don't eat when you're full, or it won't be good to hold yourself up." Soothing himself with this, Hawke manoeuvred the huge fleet and left Jupiter.
Once again, Hawke would reach Titan and here, take a final rest. Then he would reach Saturn, where he would refuel one last time. Then it will be time to leave the solar system and embark on the first ever interstellar voyage of mankind.
