The chapter starts with the conversation of Arima with it's team members.
"Arima-san, do we have any new information from team 5 which head out 3 days ago to gather intel on the whereabouts of the hostages?" "Not yet, Akira we haven't heard from them since the moment they left the headquarters. But don't worry they will be fine cause they have 'him' in their team" says Arima smirking with confidence.
Team 5 consist of four members affiliated with the hostage rescuing team and their main task is to gather information without getting noticed by the enemy, it's a crucial tasks thus this team consists of members who are good with stealth and assassination. [Operation leader: Sakuya Taroki, Ability: Can trace any ill scent and make a pathway in his head to where it's coming from. Silviya Saki, Ability: Can use camouflage but would be come into notice if she moves even a little. Sakomoto Seiya, Ability: Can transform into anything he has seen and would be able to use it's functionalites for a given period of time. Atsugawa Ziro, Ability:???
"Taro, have u noticed anything unusual yet? it's been three days since we left to gather intel on the enemy and all we did was fight some mobs of this area but haven't gotten any information yet." Ziro says to Taroki. "Well you know how my skill works right ziro, i can't do anything about it unless I get some kind of clue or a scent which can help us pinpoint anything related to our enemies" Taroki responds to Ziro with a tiring look on his face.
"Ooof, it's been three days and I haven't taken a bath neither had a decent meal, seriously you guys need to do something or I will just go insane!!!" Suddenly Silviya Saki speaks up with a frustrated tone in her voice and with a loud voice. "hey, taro no matter what we find here we should just stay quiet and not rile saki up" ziro whispers to Taroki in a slow yet low voice. "ugh, this is such a bother to deal with at times but she is the best assassin we have so I get ur point." Taroki speaks with a displeased voice. "Wait guys! blood...i smell blood not only that it's fresh blood very fresh and the more I am getting this scent the smell is still increasing which means someone is currently being attacked or is bleeding alot for some reason, follow me this side we need to check real quick" Taroki shouts as everyone gets ready. "About the damn time you showed up my clueee!!" Saki speaks up with overly excited look in her eyes.
"Shhh!! it's close saki use ur skill and try to get a look if you see something and it seems like we can charge u head first and we will cover for you." Ziro speaks up. "Hey, aren't you abit of an coward to throw a girl to the frontlines u maniac" saki replies with pouting a little. "alright enough fooling around you guys I can smell it very clearly here saki please go and check first so we can stay prepared for anything." Taroki speaks up with a slight tension in his voice. "Finee! ugh you guys can't really do anything without me, can you lol" [Cloak] ("cloak" is a skill which allows saki to let her be one with her surroundings basically she can camouflage with anything and everything around her but as soon as she moves she becomes visible and she can use camouflage again once she stops moving). As saki uses cloak and tries to get closer while Ziro and Taroki are on the standby two minutes in and we hear something like this. "Guuurgh!" A retch tore from her throat as she staggered backward, clutching her stomach. She bent over, her insides heaving violently. The bitter taste of bile rose, and with a sharp, guttural gag, she vomited onto the ground.
Her chest heaved, and she wiped her mouth with trembling hands. Disgust clung to her like a second skin, as though the horror of what she had witnessed was sinking into her very bones. The sight, the smell, the cruelty—it was all too much. A deep shiver ran through her, and the world around her blurred with the tears threatening to spill. "What was that sound taro let's go saki seems to be in some trouble" Ziro speaks in a stressed voice as they both starts running towards the corner where they saw saki standing almost crying while vomitting on the ground. "What in the world is this and who would've done this....su-such cruelty....." Taroki speaks up while ziro helps saki to hold up and then all three of them looks up at the scene they have witnessed. What they saw is so inhumane and cruel that even the words couldn't come out of their throats to explain the situation as they saw countless bodies of cats and dogs lying there with blood all over them some of them were so badly wounded that even death would be a better choice for them as the team went through the pile of those sad animals they even saw many horrifying scenes that some of them were bitten by human teeths, some were teared apart as a plaything of someone and some were just wounded so badly with a knife that they could barely said to be alive, what was surprising to those heroes was even though all those animals were so badly wounded they were on the brink of their deaths but every single one of them was alive...."Wh-who would've done such a thing to these poor souls, even looking at this is making me sick to the stomach." Tarou speaks up as Ziro helps Saki to stand up and to get a hold of herself. "I don't know who did this but what I know is we won't let him wander around the streets anymore and we will make sure to crush him as soon as we get him.." Saki speaks with her voice breaking as she recovers from what she has seen. [whooshh.... all the three heroes felt a chill in their bones and suddenly everything went silent...] "So who are you going to crush you bitch..." a man on top of the wall standing speaks up, he was wearing a black hoodie and a denim jacket over it and a mask to cover his face while wearing trousers with lots of pockets. "Who are you and when did u get here what are your intentions" Tarou speaks up in a loud and angry voice... "Shhhh, keep it down you see i am having a play of hide and seek right now all these animals in this island are a part of it and as soon as I catch them they end up here if you shout like that the one's nearby will run away and then I will have to work hard again to locate them so shut your mouth i will be right there" As soon as he ends his sentence he was there standing right next to the bodies of those wounded animals. ("how was he so fast we didn't even see him move...is that his ability? this sounds like trouble we have to be very careful in approaching him") Ziro thinks about the current situation but the unknown man reads him like a book and replies"huh so you are the smart one here huh your body language became defensive as soon as I came here, you really know I am not a joker that you can just "crush" unlike what that bitchy there said" the man replies with confidence and arrogance in his voice. "Enough of your nonsense what are you doing here and what's with all these animals are you even human how can you even do all this you asshole" Saki shouts as she was unable to content her anger anymore...."Vidhs that's my name V.I.D.H.S VIDHS
you better remember it you girl cause you will be cursing it as long as you live" Vidhs replies aggressively. "Alright if we are done with all the plesantaries shall we get to the main event? you don't get it do you? COME AT ME YOU WANNABE HEROES" vidhs laughs manically as he declare a battle on the heroes. "Yeah I am ending this now.." Taroki tries to get a sneak attack as he suddenly gets a closer range on him in seconds while pointing his dagger to vidhs neck and was about to slash right through it....~~Whoosh..."Do you like playing with air hero, if not why are u doing that over there that's so stupid of you AHAHAHAHAA" Vidhs laugh at taroki as he suddenly disappears and appears right away almost 8 feet away from Taroki. ("what was that I was sure I got him and at that very moment he disappeared??? this is not some joke of an ability how did he do that this is dangerous...") "TAROOOO dodge his attack" Ziro shouts from a distance but before taro could react vidhs stabs taro with what looked like a kitchen knife on the left abdomen of taro and he started bleeding..."Ahh what-what was that...how did you...". "Surprised enough? the show is just starting....let me show u something more impressive...." SKILL "DEATH DANCE".....
