"We should take some of our flowers and plant them in Rafael's garden. Just because men live there does not mean his manor should be dull without any color. He has not commented on the apple trees I had planted around the yard," said Beatrice.
"The boy is too busy to notice," River said, helping Beatrice to dig out the flowers she wanted to be removed.
"I still think we should tie him and trap him here so he could take time off from worrying about the kingdom. The next time I see the king, I am going to let him have it. Always sending my son around when there are plenty of other men to help this kingdom. I should just yell at all of them," Beatrice grumbled, angrily pulling out the weeds among her plants.
River kept quiet to avoid her anger turning to him. He needed to keep her far away from the king as possible to avoid going to war over her killing Tobias.
