Annalise got as far away from most of the crowd as she could to watch the knights out on the field.
She did not want to miss Rafael beating Christian, and at the same time, she hoped that being out in the open like this would allow Thomas to spot her easily.
Knowing Thomas well, he might have already seen her when she first arrived with Rafael and was coming to her now.
"All this excitement just for the king to not come," Annalise sighed.
With nothing happening in this town, it only made sense to move on to the next town which would be Lockwood. Thomas was ready to leave, but Annalise wasn't. She was so close to the Callahan knights, and being Rafael's maid should have her hearing more from the palace or the border guards.
