CONTRACT WITH THE DEVIL
In the dimly lit alley, Anthony's heart raced as he attempted to put distance between himself and the ominous group pursuing him. His injured leg throbbed with each limping step. Suddenly, he collided with a sharply dressed man, Renard, who appeared to be unfazed by the chaotic scene. He looked refined and well-to-do, not the kind of people he liked to associate with.
Renard, looking concerned, "Young lad, why are you running in such a condition?" Questioning Anthony's desperate flight.
Ignoring social niceties, "Mind your businessman and leave me alone," Anthony retorted that it was none of Renard's business, his eyes reflecting a mix of fear and defiance.
As the tension escalated, Anthony's revelation about the intent to harm someone named Lion intensified the gravity of the situation. A chill ran down his spine when he noticed Lion and his armed companions closing in. The atmosphere thickened with impending danger.
