Jack's car rolled to a stop in front of the nondescript warehouse. The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, casting the area into an eerie darkness. The only source of light came from a flickering streetlamp nearby, casting long, distorted shadows across the cracked pavement.

Scorpion emerged from the shadows. His tall, wiry frame was silhouetted against the dimly lit backdrop of the warehouse's rusty exterior.
"Jack, you're late, my men and I have been waiting for your arrival since morning," Scorpion muttered, his voice a mix of annoyance and relief. He approached the car and leaned in through the open window.
